  1. Nah..true to form the day it is available for sale all specs and everything will be released on the website. We're more curious then anything as to what people think about this first iteration.
  2. Personally suggest using "Goop" It's called "The amazing goop"..it can be purchased at any autoparts store or walmart, home depot etc. It comes in a blue or a red tube...
  3. Haven't wrote it yet...i'll get there soon.
  4. Definitely can't tune our subs that high...they have enough coil in them to move You don't need to unload them below tuning to get bottom end out of them..
  5. Just wanted to say thanks to those who have already been on the website and placed orders for the X's.. For everybody else that hasn't...the website is live and has the new X series up. We're doing 10's, 12's, and 15's in Single 2 and Single 4ohm coils...check it out! https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154c4729770dde1/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0045_X/product_overview.shopscript
  6. UPS sends you a tracking number...i guess you didn't read the terms and conditions that you clicked and agreed to that you had read . Read the sticky section on the top of this page as well...what ever email you entered when you placed your order is where the tracking number went to. We do not send you a tracker, UPS does.
  7. Thanks. although, I've tried that in the past (my subs been fucked for awhile now) But i never got any response although i have sent them multiple messages.. That's why i was hoping someone here could help.. If you don't use a subject or have some gank email like 'imtoosexyformyshirt@your mom is really hot dot com' then i'm not going to get it.. You can do a partial BP option..but we cannot do a full BP on a Q that has already been built and magnetized...

We've emailed you countless times from multiple accounts...scott sent you another email this morning.. The last email I sent to you had pricing and asked if you had paypal..and I never heard another word back from you...he sent another email today that asked if you had paypal, if not we can do a wire transfer...
  9. heck no...they're a subwoofer.
  10. No.. Dual 1's wire to 1ohm, or 4ohms. Which is fine for a 1ohm amplifier...if you are planning on running an amp per sub later you are going to run into wiring issues..unless you pickup an amp that is designed to do power at 2ohms.
  11. That tells you nothing about the port..or tuning.. How about get one of the guys on the board here to build you a box?
  12. Give a 7 year old a can of gas and a pack of matches and see what happens. You see a lot of cars crashed too..and it was because somebody did something stupid. Cars simply do not crash themselves (except for Toyota as of late, but that is another story)

We don't make SPL subs fyi. They are all intended for musical applications..unless you select the "SPL" option which has ultra tight gaps on the BTL..which you cannot play daily because the coil will rub out. And HIGH QTS does not mean ONLY sealed..it means you can use it in both sealed and ported applications on the Q. If you intend on running it in a sealed enclosure, a "Standard" Q will not sound great...the High Qts version scrubs motor strength off and works much better for sealed alignments, but will still work fine ported as well. Whats the difference between the high QTS and non high QTS models, is it different coils, different machining in the motor, or a combination of both? Coils are the same, motor differences.

  15. You've got a single 10 in a BMW..and it seems like you are wanting it to sound like a pair of ported 12's. You can't expect it to be loud...those cars absorb a TON of sound. Don't tune it much higher then 30Hz or so..you're going to run into mechanical issues if you do
  16. The HighQts option makes the new Q a "Mid Qts" woofer that works both well in sealed and ported alignments.. The 'standard' Q simply has too much motor strength to use in a sealed setup and doesn't sound great in that alignment, if you intend on using a sealed enclosure opt for the High Qts option, you may want to kick the Inductance ring around as well as it does help with upper end extension.
  17. You should consider different mids then...most IB setups are crossed around 56Hz..
  18. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to pay via a credit card, and not paypal. You do NOT have to use paypal to purchase products from us. Paypal is simply the company that processes our transactions. Please refer to the picture tutorial below, it shows you exactly how to order our products via credit card.
  19. Do it yourself? it isn't hard?? Watch the video...I could have sworm I already posted this in this thread..
  20. Soundstream it is. Touche' Sorry..I don't read signatures.
  21. Not sure if those guys know how to setup an xbl^2 coil..or if they even have the right coil for the thing...so results could be less then desired.. Regadless you can do the majority of the work with a utility knife..just don't slit your arms. Knock the majority of it off with a screwdriver and a hammer.
  22. Haven't had time..the holes are in the wall you don't need them yet. lol
  23. Brian might wanna read up on some of that stuff about letting the drywall "float" of sorts on the walls if they haven't drywalled them yet. There's a ton of info on wall treatment stuff so you don't have annoying rattles and busting drywall I've seen people do it in the past..might be something to read up on.
  24. Q's would be fine... Just please make sure that you understand how to set your gains, and subsonic filters..not using any bass boost etc.
  25. Ported... But why care about numbers? Listen to music for what it is...SPL stuff sounds horrible and is..pointless If it sounds good and gets loud enough for you shouldn't that be what's more important?
