  1. I already told you..the dustcap is loose, it happens in 1 out of every thousand or so speakers..just something that can happen when things are hand built, my apologies for it. If you want to send it in you can, but there's no point because shipping will be expensive. You can take a razor blade and gently go around the edge of the cap and strike a 'line' in it and peel the cap off. Otherwise, smack the cap with a hammer and shatter it and gently peel the broken pieces off around the edge of the glue joint. We'll send you a new one and you can pop it back down in the glue joint and it'l be as good as new.

    The coil is longer
  3. Fly me to trinidad..i'll fix them lol.
  4. Somehow it sounds like the dustcap is loose..
  5. Oopsy. What size Q?

    never
  7. Again, i've said it many times. Speakers are dumb, they do what you are telling them to do. Whether it is via the amp, crossover points, enclosure etc. None of them have mechanical noise or rattles..it just doesn't happen. Line-out converters often are a huge issue, i've heard of many problems with those amplifiers, and honestly a prefab box probably isnt going to help the situation either.. Plus your looking for a LOT out of a single 10" sealed woofer as far as output.. Thanks, Nick
  8. Build process can last up to 7 business days depending on what you ordered, when you ordered, and how busy we are. When it is ready it will be in the pickup with UPS, until then it is going to say 'billing information received'
  9. Think of it like this...your brand new ford focus has a warranty right..against defects..and recalls. But if you drive it into a concrete wall at 60mph do you expect ford to cover it under warranty..because you drove it into the wall?
  10. Never know what might pop up when..
  11. True. But if you are going to spend almost $500.00 on a subwoofer it would be nice to have a little assurance. But to each his own. I am not bashing Fi by any means. Its just one thing I don't agree with. I just sleep better a night knowing that my pair of subs have some kind of written warranty. They have as much warranty as the BTL's do. They do not cover abuse, they do not cover open coils. (Which is the only way speakers break btw) It covers manufacturing defect..that's it. 9500's are in the ~800 dollar range now right? Bottom line is we're not out to screw anybody, if it is our fault we'll say it is our fault and we'll fix it, Regardless of what series it is. But we will not warranty abuse/being silly...nobody else will either. So in essence..you've got the exact same warranty by going with the 9500...
  12. 2 cubic feet works well.. Definitely will not be as loud as ported though. Thanks, Nick
  13. Nobody covers abuse.. Everybody covers defects.. It's industry standard. If your silly with something and do something dumb nobody is going to cover anything under warranty..
  14. Dumbass new UPS driver...I emailed you last night Scott. The Ice blue cap is pretty close to the color of your car. It's a little more silver than a Carolina blue. I mean the celica is loud for a single 12 sealed...it's got a dei1100d on it...no issues. I've never metered it, probably never will either...as it's more of an 'sqish' type fast car Thanks! Nick
  15. I've got mine in 1.1 sealed.. Isn't silly loud or anything, but sounds solid
  16. Depends on how much room you have to work with and how much power you are wanting to run... Box rec's are in the sticky section at the top of the page in the 'Technical' forum. It explains the options there as well. Thanks!

What tc-9 is it? 3/4" slugs or 1" slugs?.. There's a TON of different versions of a TC-9.. Thanks, Nick
  18. No, it hasn't left yet.. I've already emailed you back, it's taken care of.
  19. Where is your subsonic filter set?
  20. The slapping noise you are hearing is the speaker unloading because you are playing below tuning frequency.. Don't do that, you are going to break it. As far as why it isn't as loud? No clue, your hearing is either suffering, or you've partially damaged it from playing chopped and screwed music too loud.
  21. New one on me..never heard of that one lol. Can't please everybody..but out of the thousands of subs that we've sold...that's the first i've heard of anything like that. Also..it is impossible to ship a sub out DOA. They are tested before they are put in the shipping crates... I'd take that one with a grain of salt if I were you -Nick
  22. Wasn't me man...I don't design any boxes.. Vehicle has to be here for me and i get out a pencil, paper, and calculator... Thanks, Nick
  23. If it is the style that does not have the 12 spoke bolt pattern then you have to send the motor in to have it machined..we cannot use those baskets..
  24. Only place to get one new is straight off of the site..
  25. sure..
