Dude, with PROPER electrical your Sundown is doing 2k @ 14.4 just like my RF is doing 2k @ 14.4 . Now I have same setup as you pretty much. I have a crap load of port area and am tuned at 31hz. With anything 27-30hz my 12 is crazy loud, and has fairly decent response up to maybe 45hz. But hey that's what I wanted out of my design, "low end." YOU might not like your tuning.

This is all dependent upon box specs, driver specs, and the environment you place your driver and box in (ie your car). Have no advice for you other than sealed off facing forward from trunk seems to be the most recognized "loudest" trunk setup. And if the 3500 amp you are gonna use is a Sundown then get the ZV4 just to match.

Fi!!!! The x series is a 750 rms sub. Now I have 2 BL's. a 12 an 15 and love the way they sound in their boxes and their capable frequency range. Now i havent heard anybody elses before because noone knows shit about audio where im from. we have a monopoly shop and they fuck people but back to thread....... 550 x 1 @ 2 ohm 1100 x 1 @ 1 ohm I know it does more it have 120 amps of fusing probably around 1300-1400 rms. Memphis might rate at 13.8 or even 12.6 I don't know.

I'm runnin 2400 rms on a 90 amp alt Big 3 and 1 xs d3400. At full tilt my truck can hold 13.4. Lights do not dim. Can hardly get the battery meter in the cluster to drop. Maybe something is loose somewhere. Start at the battery.
