been working on modifying my box to run the 18's in for now...Subs wired , mounted, and box reinstalled. Will start the battery box this weekend. Buss Bars should be here Monday. Hopefully by Tuesday we'll be running power and ground wires(again, lol). I also recieved my voltmeters. Gonna try to mount them in the headlight switch bezel 'cubby'. Jig to use my circle jig... Router bit only 1 " long...so made the circle cut- the jigsaw the rest, the sanded it flush. Port length adjusted. Box is ~11.75 @ ~28hz after displacements. Learned I suck at soldering. soooo... (yes I insulated them well) Back in it's rightful place-

woot...just ordered a B-stock pack...be my first time using any kind of deadener. gonna do the roof of the Avy first...I have a feeling it is gonna need it the worst.

depends on too many variables. Power, enclosure, etc. But general concensus that I've read- displacement is king. Frogcase- Tuned in for the madness. 2 18" Zcons on 5k....oh yeah!

After running my xcon 18d2 on a Soundqubed 1200 at 1 ohm, compared to running my first xcon 18d1 on a Skar 1500 at .5 ohms. I can say that the difference wasn't huge. I would run both 2500's at 2 ohms like you said....IF you already have the 2nd amp. if not- one 2500 at 1ohm will drive both subs just fine.

I liked the sound of my Death Row. But compared to my Xcon I had before...Lets just say I bought another Xcon. I like Incriminator- but you pay a premium for it. Many SPL subs can be musical, but I've never heard a Judge, so I can't say. in the end though- the enclosure matters as much as the raw driver.

I decided to put my 270a alt I already had in my Suburban. Going to run a dual alt bracket in the Avy with the stock alt on the stock batt for the truck. And a Singer 350 dedicated to the amps battery bank. Running 4 kinetiks instead of 3, found a cheap one near e on c/l. I have everything in hand.

I have everything, but the weathers been crap- and I am doing it in my driveway. Then I have other irons in the fire too, I need to just make the time and focus on the Lanche again. Like tomorrow- I'm going to gather some parts for a truck I bought to give my son...I should be working on my truck.LOL

That sux! I am hoping to meet some more fellow forum members. Met Swift, Senchez, David, and Steve at finals last fall.

just read on F/B that due to demand- the SPL vendors side will be open sunday as well. so that makes me feel better about going both days.

Who all's going? I was looking and the flyer last year said Sat and Sun 10am - 6PM, This year it says Sun is for industry personnel only, except for the SPL Hall. My Son and I are going as spectators. I know when we went to the Finals in Nashville we had to leave saturday- and we missed all the big demos on Sunday. Are there going to be people Demo'ing on Sunday?
