if you dont know what active is, its best to stay away. more tuning and such, easier to blow speakers if not done right. i had my tweeters in the dash(tryin to find a good staging for tweets) and they got loud that way, but then i put them in the pillars and were screaming. these are RSDs btw.

word? news to me. anyway, i want the high end models. i heard the lower ones are good too. my 2nd choice to running RSDs(which i chose) DLS is my next ones and probably final.

honestly i rather run either(Q or CVX) ported. if you want it louder and lower. maybe even drop to 12s so you have the space. but between the 2, CVXs will get louder, thats what they are meant to do.

i installed some deadner and did the big 2 finally. that is all

I like to try things and i would have kept the RD but it arrived broken but this is the final setup for some time, only thing that might change is subs(add more)

still got passenger side wires to run but started on amp rack. rack started out a certain way and had to be changed. pics: there is where i'm stuck at for the next few days til i can get it done.

minor updates. everything coming along nicely. pics: WIRES RAN THROUGH DOORS DOWN INTO PANEL WIRES RAN TO BACK MY MIDS UPGRADE MID INSTALLED(DIDN'T NEED SPEAKER RINGS ) AMP RACK STARTING TO TAKE PLACE I also ran mp3 adaptor and remote wire, no pics. just need to run passenger side wires and then i'm done! But still stuck on where to mount tweeters, HELP!

Got Speaker Rings in(thanks mike!) Also got my Big 3 wires and Fuse Holders wired up for amps Now just waiting on the 100.4 and grab deadner and i can start installing

ahh didn't fully understand you post then. you tryin to make your own sub i'm assuming?
