  1. Thanks guys, have a few calls to make lol
  2. Im looking to get a high output alternator but have no clue who makes them and were to look. Its a 2007 Nissan Versa. Can anybody help me out with some links and info.
  3. LOL it looks good driving by the gas station LOL
  4. subs are ok for loud, but won't compare to the ICONS for sq. i have no clue about the quantum stuff, sounds best buy'ish, adn thus stay away from 'ish. personally, in your car, i would do a pair of ICON 10s with teh sundown 1500. might be able to port the pair and help on the output side of things. as to your electrical, it wouldn't like a pair of 1000s and a 100.4 . it'll probably dislike the 1500 and a 100.4, but at least you'll be in the neighborhood. as always, a good strong battery upfront (optima yellowtop at a minimum), paired with the big 3 done in 0 guage is a requirement. and an alternator upgrade if needed. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Thanks man, I think im going with the icons, now im just waiting for the check in the mail lol.
  5. Ok, a guy at a local shop is trying to sell me two Kicker L5's and Quantum amp for the Subs and a 4 channel Quantum amp for the highs. Anybody know anything about this equipment.
  6. No, non of this material is Prepreg, We do use some prepreg but we dont normally have that left over. The company i work for gets this stuff on rolls of 3000 yds and the leftover tail get trashed, some tails are 100+ yards.
  7. Thanks guys, Yeah i have loads of this stuff laying around lol, were is the best place to get the resin and curative? and what brands are good? The company i work for manufactures composite covers for papermills but the epoxy matrix we use takes 16 hours to setup at 300 deg. F. i dont think i will be using that lol.
  8. I have a weird question; I plan on attempting to build some Kick panels. I have some Fiberglass and Kevlar material that might work. But I want your opinion. All this material is about .015 -.035 thick per layer, yeah it would take a lot of layers. This is a Spun-lace polyester material, Its 4
  9. I have been out of car audio for about 10 years and im trying to figure out what equipment is still hitting hard and whats new lol. Ok Im putting a system in a 07 Nissan Versa (small 4 door Hatch) and need some help. Im looking for a nice SQ system that can get a little loud also, I do not plan on any SPL competition. I need some recommendations on the list below that are undecided. Also any input on the equipment I already own. Are the Polks any good, Lanzars any good?... I listen to all types of music but metal (Disturbed, Rammstein, Metallica) is what I normally listen to, I also listen to rap. Yeah Im a mess lol. So what do you think I should get? Lets say I have a budget of about 2k for the undecided parts. Car Link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3015437 Head Unit: Pioneer AVIC-D3X (own it) Front Doors: Polk Audio Polk Audio db6501 6-1/2" component speakers (own it) Kick Panels: Lanzar OPTI64 6.5'' Mid-Bass Driver (own it) High & Mid Amp: ? Undecided ( 4 channel ) Sub Amp: ? Undecided ( Mono Block ) Subs: ? Undecided ( 2 X 12 in small sealed enclosure or 1 12" not sure lol) Max box dimensions i can fit in the hatch: Width: 38" Heigth: 17" Depth Top: 8" Depth Bottom: 15" This is max. I would rather not use all this depth lol. Still have to find a place for the amps lol. Thanks for the info, If i went with the ICON/Sundown combo do you think two of them would be overkill? and also my power system in the car. Its a stock 110 amp alt. would i be able to run 3 amps (2 x SAE-1000D and a SAX-100.4). I do like what i see in the Sundown and ICON equipment.
