  1. I think the power steering is above my alt but thats it... Thats the only obstacle it has. Other than that its right there.
  2. 1994-1997 have the same Engines. And the same location for alternators. The USDM Accord never came with an H22. 94-97 Honda Accords are all the same. In every aspect. except the years of course.
  3. Haha I think its giving out 75k watts? Ill find out when I go there.
  4. Lol ill probably find out when I enter in the competition. There are always people willing to help and show off there little setups. (Well maybe not little... A guy has 7 stetsom amps and has them wired all the way down to .25 of an ohm.)
  5. I took out my spare and left it in the shed. I replaced it with a little bridge i made with left over support to help support the box.
  6. I actually had to take the top off and glue it in the trunk. IT BARELY FUCKING FIT without the top on. Your lucky somehow unless you made the sub fire up. And I put the 3000D on the metal sheet. I found the pattern quite easy and drilled into it. It actually made the amp fit and it wont go any wheres. OMG I have my girlffriend buying me deadener for christmas lol. My doors rattle now that Thats the only place left to go. Right now i have some 5 1/4 crunch passive speakers up front till I get more money to pay for a alternator and finish buying gifts for Christmas and shit. But I may do what you did with the front stage considering I barely hear shit anyways from the bass. Right now the 3000d is set to half gains because of some recent car problems I had. It raped my electrical by surprise and now I have to be more careful till I get my alt in November.
  7. RE box calculator says: Total Port Length: 25.75 Square Port Width: 3.5 Square Port Volume: 1351.875
  8. Yes Sir. Boy was it a bitch to undo those wires from the gel like covering. Meter - Don't know, the competition is monthly so sometime in November I'll find out. (Its not sanctioned or anything just a public competition using a TL) Box Specs - 32w x 18d x 16.5h I don't know the tuning and overall cuft. because it was done from the RE box calculator and I KNOW that is off on both. 1. Thanks the speaker wire is hidden also just needed to do some adjustments elsewhere and that was in the way. Also the ability to put up the seat as well to hide it from thieves when I go to school, work, or anywhere else is a huge plus. 2. First got the sub and thought to myself, what is clean power and could take the BTL. Then after many many months of researching and just lurking the SSA forums I have came to my decision of the 3000d. And I may also get another to burp it if I continue to progress through competitions as long as I feel assured that it will make a difference. 3. I have been in love with Fi since February(First time hearing about them) and I have been saving up money since then to get where I am TODAY. 4. Thanks I got it off CA.com for $250. I envy myself for getting a 500 dollar battery for half price. haha
  9. Hey guys, Finally uploaded pictures of my setup. My Ride: (1995 Honda Accord) Head unit: (DEH-P600UB) The Amp: (Sundown 3000D) The Back Battery: (Powermaster D3100) The Sub: (Fi BTL 15") Still working saving up for a H/O Alt which will be in by end next month. Then I can actually turn this shit all the way up! Comments are always welcome. Thanks, Curt
  10. That's exactly what he just said. Yes
  11. Wait your worrying about horse power over max watts from your amp?
  12. We only "dis" you when you make retarded threads like many previous ones in the past. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7154 Will help you out on the specs for the box, tuning, volume, etc. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/home/in...calculatorflash Will give you an excellent cut sheet for your box. I believe the tuning and volume are a little off not sure on this though.
  13. answered your own question
  14. I gave them a call and he gave me the run down for my alt and he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. But I am not getting this till maybe a month. Waiting for the cash flow to rise and then Ill order it and let you know how it runs.
  15. You just made my decision on which alternator to get. Thanks bro, Curt
  16. Sorry for assuming buddy. I am on the same boat with bigjon. I thought you meant power master and was giving them another name. My bad man.

Bigjon you interested in this piece of work? http://www.lincoln.com/mks/home.asp Looks sexy as hell too.
  18. LOL Forgot to mention the 250k miles it has on it too on top of that 13 years. Ran like a champ! I thought my car was high, i have a 95 accord with 235K miles. Did you check the voltage at the battery with the car on and off? a low voltage with the car on would make it more of a chance its the alt I haven't gotten a volt meter yet. Car likes to start up in a second. It's like that one little rev and its good to go.

  20. I am looking into a new alternator, just waiting for some birthday (Nov 10th!!!) money to help back it up. Thanks for the replies. Belt is fine. I looked at the belts near and around the alternator and they are strong and held on there pretty tight. The power steering I believe is above the alternator. Sorry not much of a mechanic like my brother. So my guess from all of your replies is the alternator. I first was assuming maybe the terminals on the battery were loose or something. But I guess I'm giving my alt more than it can handle. Which is pretty much of my stupidity but I can only learn more from my actions. Thanks for the replies and Ill give you an update in like 2 weeks on the choice of alt and when it should be in. (Most likely Mechman)
  21. I know, it's a joke how much they charge now adays... I mean at the most the MDF woulda been around 75 dollars with some leftover. My friend gets people from school and his work so we can make boxes for them, We charge 100 dollars, all the materials needed costs at the most 35 dollars... MDF I think 8'x4' sheet of wood costs only 24 dollars. FYI
  22. Sorry, Crimpers https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-b...:1:UNDEF::::PA3 Scroll down till you get to lunco
