  7. Its all good, making my car safer is better then making it louder. (Sounds stupid but) My friends laugh at me cause they call it a little fart can because everyone in my area has just a exhaust tip that gives it its noise. (I don't have one) I really hate how everything takes time and money. Just taking it day by day right now. Curt
  8. They cant run out, when they receive your money is when they MAKE your sub. None are prebuilt, correct me if I'm wrong. But being as busy as they are, It will take a while for your money to be either processed, your sub to be made, or even just to get it shipped out to you. Curt
  9. <--- Being 17 means you gotta start with some car. And the most affordable one I saw was the "Honduh" Curt
  10. Anyone know if there are any major/non major SPL competitions in NJ area. I would like to go up and watch and maybe participate in the future. But mostly just watch in awe. Curt
  11. Thanks Jazz and fbi90909, I am actually going to print this just so i dont lose this post. And I have saved about $1k in cold cash for these projects of mine and not even 5 days ago I find out i need to spend 750 bucks on new friggen brake rotors because my car has to be the model that has PRESS ON brakes. But I would much rather have a working car than no car at all. Hopefully I can order my sub in mid May, get some of these projects knocked out in august. Thanks again for everyones help. Curt
  12. I have a 1995 Honda Accord. I was thinking about putting in some tweets in the a-pillars of my Honda. I don't want to make it a guess and check scenario and mess up my a-pillars. Is there any place or can someone tell me how I can obtain these custom a-pillars or how to make them? Thanks, -Curt
  13. All we need is an envelope with a letter saying can i get some stickers please? In that case, what is the address i should be sending the envelope to? Thanks, -Curt
  14. Gas where I live is $3.41-$3.49? Somewheres along there. But it will be $4 dollars in the summer. Which will suck. -Curt
  15. I got my box design, I got the sub I want in mind. (Fi BTL 15''), I got the Big 3 finished. Getting a free yellow top optima battery. In the works of a 200amp alternator. Will a 200amp alternator run a SAZ-3000D amp with/without ease? I want to make sure that this setup will not stress my cars electrical system if I have everything that I listed above. I would like to make this my daily system and enter small competitions. Comments much appreciated. Thanks, -Curt
  16. How much allthread would I need? Just 1 bar of allthread or like 3?
  17. Ok so the thread will be coming out of the box. Makes more sense now. Thanks. Now i just need a box that will fit my car without me trying to build it inside.... Anyone wanna help? My trunk dimensions are: Height: 21" Width: 43" Depth: 27" I was given a design with the dimensions of 20H x 25W x 25D That is the tightest fit i have ever seen. (Would like to take some inches off the Height of the box to make it fit nicely.) I am wanting to get a BTL 15" hooked up to a sundown SAZ-3000D at 4cubes at 35Hz. Can someone help me design a box that is maybe 18H x 38W x 25D? Or close to these dimensions. Much help needed and appreciated. Thanks, -Curt
  18. I dont understand how you would brace it with allthreads? Would you have to drill into the board just enough so it doesn't go through? And on the other side would you have to drill in reverse of the other side? Would that screw in on both sides if one side is drilled clockwise and the other side is CClockwise? <--- Newbie box builder ----| Thanks, -Curt
  19. I went to home depot today, 17bucks for a big sheet of 3/4 MDF Board. Allthread, I guess I will have to look that up.
  20. One sheet, ok thanks. Any ideas how much one costs? (First time building my own box) Allthread, I'll probably stick with 2x4s for the bracing.
  21. If I were to order 3/4 MDF boards from Home Depot. How much should I get? I want to get a LITTLE more then I should get, but not an overload of it. This is for a 20H x 25W x 20D box that will hold a 15" BTL. Thanks, -Curt
  22. cjosisek90 posted a topic in Fi Products
Are the specs for the BTL sub going to be different or still the same. I wanna make a box soon and wanting to get the right calculations. If they are the same, could someone list the specs for the 15''. Seems they haven't put up anything for the BTL yet. Thanks, -Curt
  23. Could only imagine getting a flat tire... The wheel is right under the box.
