wait so you upgraded from 600rms to 800rms (please clarify that these are rms rating not max ratings....)? that wont have any audible difference.. sounds like you just wasted some cash my bet is that you have a bad ground, improper wiring (sub wiring, power wire gauge, etc), or incorrect amp settings (chipping, using bass boost, etc) which is causing the overheating issue.

should not be a difference atleast to the ear.. maybe on the meter theres some kind of benefit but i have no idea. 1 sub per amp would keep the install simpler aswell

they apparently have some ib 15's designed more specifically for car ib use...

when you switch from mounting the sub regularly to an inverted mount you switch the polarity of the sub, so what you can do is switch the positive and negative wires at the amp or at the sub to reverse the polarity back to normal. this is also referred to in terms of phase. im sure you've seen some amps that can change phase? when you flip the phase 180 degrees its the same as switching the pos and neg wire. here is a good resource. Basic Car Audio Electronics number 31 my be of some help... the demo of testing polarity with a battery will help you understand it better, if not i can go into more detail it doesnt really matter which way the polarity is set, try it both ways or if you have a amp with a phase dial try all the setting to find the loudest.

MD I believe. My order of MLV was so heavy I could barely pick it up. yep just got it today. 1 sheet of mlv and 1 sheet of 1/8 inch ccf... pretty heavy for its size but i think thats the point haha

i had to get a 10 buck a month 25mb data plan. the unlimited is $30. Verizon is now calling phones like the env touch, " 3g media phones" this was just added last month.

for the same price you can get a sae1000d from db-r. this a refurb but comes with a warrenty. db-r is autthorized from sundown to work on their amps. way more amp for the money!!
