  1. oh shit, and he drives off.... fucking hilarious..
  2. sick pics ill deff have to come see it some year. but my gf hates getting scared haha.
  3. But man, the unused cycles on that thing could really get a ton of work done on some of these science projects. ok i give up, what is a seti group...? i fail at google searches apparently.. oh thats cool, i think i seen this on tv once, they used a shit load of playstation 2's. it was pretty sweet!
  4. parts alone cost toms hardware $2500, im not sure if i would sell it in one piece or part it out because im not sure if it will be delivered to me reassembled. but im trying to justify keeping it.. here are my thoughts. lets say i build a budget pc for about 600 this winter like i planed to do, then throughout my next 2 years of college i do some modest upgrading, maybe new cpu and graphics so lets say another 400 bucks by the time im out of school. Following college i decided i want to do a new build with new hardware, assuming there will be new chips out. now lets also assume that this new computer will cost about 1200 bucks and be about the same performance as the computer i won, this would mean that i gain nothing buy selling my current computer if i will just be rebuilding it in 3-4 years. now in the advent of an emergency i would no doubt sell it off. and as far as money goes i really dont give a shit about it... i dont have alot, im not rich, i just dont worry about it... if i have a bill to pay ill put more hours in at work and get the cash. (im sure ill grow out of this attitude by the time i get out of college... and have to be a grown up ) You know what. I say keep it if that's all you would get for it parting it out. Selling whole would get you WAY more for sure, even more so since it was a price on a popular PC site. If you plan on keeping a PC tough enough to run games for the next 6 years, then you *might* break even VS selling it whole, however.... if you wouldn't do anything with an extra 2k laying around, then you can at least say you were top of the line while you pown newbs for like 5 minuites. i think my parents would also flip the fuck out if i did a 2500 pay pal deal...
  5. Sean 2 here made my whole rig including game mouse and keyboard and 28" better than 1080 rig for less than 2400. A comperable tower from Alien or any other boutique was 6k easy. No mouse moniter or keyboard. well im thinking about selling off some portions of the system that aren't required like some hd's and 1 graphic card, maybe the blue ray burner aswell.

  8. i was planning to get into more pc gaming this winter, the idea was to build a very budget pc as my parents gift to me (they give me credit card w/ a spending limit and i do the shopping )
  9. oh ya sorry, i should have pointed that out. im a pretty big gamer, although i play mostly on my 360. my parents are still paying the electric bill so i hope they wont be to pissed if they see a slight jump in the bill that being said, the cash i could get out of it would be awesome! damn.... what to do....
  10. the weight is really shocking, its not a full size tower either... the really sad part about it is this computer is worth more then my car... maybe more then the car + my system since my tranny is going out... and then throw in the value of my macbook and i think ill be replacing the door to my bedroom w/ something more secure... maybe motion sensors and a automatic gun turret will provide enough protection.. ROFL Maybe you should sell it. ehh, its crossed my mind afew times but i think id end up regretting it. this xmas ill ask for a nice monitor or 2... or 3 for it unless my car dies tomorrow.... i dont need cash right now
