skip on the 6x9s, no real need for them especially in a budget setup. use that money for better fronts or better amps. this guy makes hellz more then rated, check this out(actual power) http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-300W-...%3A2|240%3A1318 so if your looking to upgrade subs later u have more then enough power on tap to do it. this is the amp im running right now, and the price is very nice at 115 kenwood excelon kac x10d you might be able to snag a deal from someone on the forum aswell. if u mean to spend any less then that there are other options, im just not to familiar with the various brands and dont want tell u what to buy without having experience with a product in some way

since they are 4 ohm svc's run them to a 1 channel amp. this is a 2 ohm load and your looking for around 300 rms. another option, but probably less viable, would be a 4 channel amp and bridge 2 channels to each sub... whats your budget for amp?

wow that sucks, i might take my business somewhere else next time. however my last 2 amps from ubid work fine. they were only a 100.2 and a 250.2, id say the price was worth a little gamble...

ya id run the cheap-o-amp on the fronts and get a new one for the subs, or sell off your system to a buddy and start over haha if u already haven't purchased the components look into phoenix gold Rsd comp's if your on a budget.

idk if they are, you could just run them separate.. i dont understand the benefits of strapping amps.. im not sure if when u strap them (if u can) if it would be 2k at 1 ohm or 4 ohm... check the manual on kicker.com for more info edit... damn i wish i had money in the bank right now otherwise it would be mine!! ...i bet that amp goes for about 200-220 $$$

did you happen to get the amp working before this happen? i saw your other post where u said the amp wasn't putting out much power, maybe that amp gave up the ghost...

actually i sent u link to a thread about a guy asking the same thing, in that link there was post describing some of the issues and a mention of shizzzon's build where he had alot of problems... and today another guy is having a problems with the same amp your getting, im only suggesting that u could have gotten a better amp if u gave alittle more time into looking, i really hope u dont have any problems with your purchase.

guess that was the wrong one, i thought it was the one about the terrible customer service... but either way i kinda wanted to show that there is alot of info on this site and doing a quick search can answer your questions more effectively then asking is amp "x" is good or not. im glad you didnt get one of those amps from sonicelectronix tho haha, good luck with everything. just saw your post about your 350.4 im pretty surprised u had any problems with it, if it was only 3 months old why not send it back? usually its a pretty rare deal to hear about a kicker amp having those kind of problems brand new.... and i dont think they even have a fan...

never heard of that brand either. i can tell u for certain that a kicker amp will be very reliable and a good buy, and that they make more the rated power. to me that amp looks like junk...
