I always prefer to do that in software, not hardware. MiniDSP can invert the phase. On the same page as the time delay. thanks! Just trying to think a head this time around. i'd really like to ditch the hu and go with 1 or 2 minidsp's. I'm really liking the idea of a 7" tablet as the "head unit". shame you cant tweak the setting on the minidsp with the tablet. I want to use a tab for my next head unit. The only downside is that a lot of times you cannot charge and run them at the same time without hum. had this same problem with my phone on a gps style dock.

Got a question. starting to plan the next install once my car dies. which, i can only guess, will happen in the next few months (nothing i can do, high millage and so forth) So, one thing that is importing when tuning a system is playing with the phase of individual speakers. Im curious if anyone has thought of using DPDT switches? http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=060-087 in my current install, flipping polarity at the amp is a pain due to amp rack design. more install work might pay off next time around. -would they be better before of after amplification? related question, can the minidsp switch phase on individual channels?
