yes... it works. has some coil scratch though. adire wont repair / rebuild it. "Not cost effective". I sent You a whole one that way You can tear it down Yourself... I figured You'd have to pop that paticular cherry at some point. -Nick

I ordered some 8's for testing about 2 weeks ago. three different companies. two of the orders rolled in about a week ago. one order has yet to show up. I got that quoted note above this afternoon, out of th blue as it were. I'm glad the rep stumbled upon the error, as I prolly would've waited another week before saying anything... <shrug>

I mentioned that i never got a bill for them last night...and got a call today saying he thinks they goofed. So they did. I just got him to run them through himself this time. Use a 1" wide mounting ring and .75" dowels. I definately suggest a motor brace for heavier woofers in top or side mounted fiberglass.

most alts cut-on between 700-900 rpm, while having full output by 1200-1500 rpm. Where is Your idle? Even stock alt's don't cut-on until 600-800 rpm. Most "HO" alts are designed for competition, most competitions let You idle upto (with foot on throttle for example) 2k rpm. So that is where full power is, but it's not not producing power before then. :confused: Sorry, I guess I don't see what the question was lol
