fuse within 18" of BOTH, BOTH, BOTH batteries. If You have a short in anywhere in the wire ANY unfused battery will unload through it. As long as You can afford it, You should use the bigger wire. Less resistance is always good. -Nick- Welcome to the IHoP

yea, You'll be fine at 0.5 nominal. I can guarantee You that the bbp6 imp. graph is not accurate enough.- Looking for nice 5.25 comps
With a decent set of components with a decent install (IB w/deadening -or- sealed), You prolly wont need rear speakers... depending on Your tastes. I tend to go with components IB up front running higher power (100-200 wrms) High passed (pre-xover) ~120hz. Then rear midbass woofers IB or sealed in the rear ~80-120 rms bandpassed ~50-150 hz. IMO, strong, supporting midbass will bring the music to life. Particularly jazz, country, rock, and higher vocal music. I also dont like my midrange (component woofer) drivers being slowed down -or- muddied by the lower midbass frequencies. $0.02 -Nick- Welcome to the IHoP
that sucks... it was a pretty good book. Movies made from books are never as good as Your own imagination I spose...- Box Design for 2 RL-p 15s?
1 Top, 1 Bottom: 19 x 42 x 0.75 (thick) 1 Back: 15.5 x 40.5 x 0.75 (thick) 1 Front: 15.5 x 36.5 x 0.75 (thick) 2 Sides: 15.5 x 19 x 0.75 (thick) Vb = 5.073 cu.ft / Fb = 34.17 Hz / F3 = 36 Hz Vent: 15.5 High x 4 Wide x 23 long. The vent length includes 0.75 for the front baffle > an initial 13.5" board > 8" "U" Turn > 4.75" second board (to make the "U" Turn).- Bass box pro
which woofers are using in how big of a box with how much port area? These things will help to determine wether or not You can use Your amp at 0.5 nominal. But, I'll go ahead and say that it should be fine.- Bass box pro
bbp6 is faaar too dependant on lumping the small signal specs. this is both the great thing about the program, and the chitty thing about it's graphiing/forecasting. The only real graph to use is the nrf and vent velocity. They are not 100% of course, but are close enough. MS Excel > bbp6 > other free programs. -Nick- Supreme Series LMT Prototype Pictures
that makes me very happy... i hate inductance, in any style of driver I was only caught off guard because I was told by a TC rep that they would not use "that style" of surround. The overtone was that it was sourced from resonance. But this was quite a few months ago. I agree with You on the wiggle room- LMAO

Ryan sums it up pretty well - A full on tune up. The only thing that I point out to folks...Tires. No matter how fast or safe Your car is, if it's got a set of tires that cost $35 a piece, it is not a good car to drive. Pick up a set of tires for high speed, thruway type (lane changing, high speed emergency manuevers) conditions. While we are at it, since You are moving from minimal high speed driving to regular exposure, have the dealer do a full 4 wheel alignment with the tires. Considering the kilometers on the car, have the struts/shocks checked and replaced as needed. Have the dealer take a good look at the steering system (rack, lines, pump, tie rods). If part of this system has a small fault that is merely annoying - at double the speed it can be unsafe. Alot of the things mentioned here probably wont need any repairs, but I find it better to have it checked. Rather safe then sorry. -Nick- Welcome to the IHoP

stay strong man.... You've gone quite a few days already, right? dont turn back now! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With the BS from Verizon and the new house geting cluttered with chit I really have been wanting one here lately <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea, all the chit that's going on... this is a bad time to try to quit. But then again, is there ever really a bad time to stop trying to get cancer? I need to quit myself. You'll be alright... irritable, but alright Think of the money You're saving, think of how much easier it'll be to breath after running a mile, playing ball, etc... all that good stuff.- Box Design for 2 RL-p 15s?
I don't do pretty plans with a cut sheet et al, but I can give You the dimensions and everything that You need To clarify, You want (2) RLp 15"s in 2.5cu ft total? Tuned to 30hz. How much wattage RMS? Post that info and I can run a design through BBP6 for You. -Nick- Welcome to the IHoP
