Tranny dropped a couple of gears. I knew that I needed to replace her but I was hoping it'd wait till winter. I still need to assemble the body, fill, sand, paint. Still need to finish the wall, wiring, amp/batt rack. Still need to get set of rims & tires, or at least tires. Lots of little things that go along with a $200 car. i.e.-moldings, trim pieces, small but necessary parts. Not to mention, still have to finish the custom interior (door panel covering/vinyl, reassemble dash, get a set of front seats). I was planning on getting alot more done last week while I had a few days off... Now I have little time to widdle away at it. I'm kicking out one of my "roommates" next month. there's $300 month out the door. We are moving in April's 14yr old sister instead. There's another $2-400 month out the door. SPL is going to wait.

she wont be on the road anytime soon, no matter what I do. since i already have the equipment, I'll spend another $100 on wood and run the truck.

I can get a tranny, from a few guys.. including a coulpe of SSA hook ups But it's just a clusterfudge.

Yah, I believe that it was something like "slowly remove the testicals with a spoon..." The uber wouldnt really be to compete... might burp it a couple of times just to see what she'll do, but that's all. Beside, it wasnt really a commercially available woofer - illegal for drag. I wouldnt really fit into any class. With having extra batts in the back, a chit ton of fusing, and (4) is too many 15" woofers. If I ran (2) 15"s, (2) Batts, (2) Amps... I could slide into Street C, Meca & Slap. SUV's suck for Drag But I do have that factory acoustically contoured headliner.

I've got ~13 cubes net - up to the window line in the cargo area of my truck, while still fitting (3) batts. I've got power on tap upto 6kw nominal. All ported, nothing tuned higher then 38hz for music and daily wangage - preferably more like 28-30hz. Take Your Pick... will build on Wednesday. Thanks gent's -Nick

I have a few amps that I can get 3k+ @ 0.35 ohm on 14.1vdc. But I also have One amp that can knock out just shy of 2kw @3.8ohm with 15.8 vdc. Are we assuming 14.4 vdc or 12vdc or 17vdc? Why not just ask if the output stage is regulated....
