honestly, if I could, i would. i just cant spare money now, or in the immediate future. I also have a mag, entasi, and uberwoofer sitting around and not gtting used - IOW I dont need another driver. measure twice, cut once - makes for easy assembly. Just take Your time and hopefully You'll find box building is fun too.

Thats a thick pucking top plate... alot of damned guassation. That is a hefty VC... lotta power. So, considering that I only have a (conventional) 8ish cubes in the car, I maybe able to use this driver (non-IB) and throw power at it to make up for it. chit. keep me advised, i might be in for one. if i can come up with money.

I was looking around for a high excursion 18" driver with a relatively high efficiency, low inductance, mid Q and low Fs for primarily IB use at a price of around $300 and couldn't find anything that combined all of my criteria.
