for mic, downfiring will cost you. at least, it has in my trials and from the competitors that I've talked to. you lose 'spl' in the reflection/cancellation. if you're gonna go with a solo, the susp is beefy enough that I think 2500rms wont hurt it much (if at all) in 8ft^3. talk to trp82 (iirc) at TPro... he runs a Solo in a cargo area wall in a blazer. cool guy. mid to high 150's. daily dirver too. bunch of other guys too. actually, find & PM tracey (polecat)... he knows his Kicker
