Welcome to the IHoP
Oh, and of course: I've only got 12-16 cubes. So, I dunno. If I run (4), I dunno if I should move to 12"s or stay with 15"s.

Though, I've got 5kw nominal to play with. 4-6kw actual. Hence, me thinks 95's.

If all of my motors are similar enough (BL curve, coil aspects, etc.), I may run all four of them together in the 'Stang.

First T.O.P. of the day for me.

Welcome to the IHoP
Now, I gotta wait on jess to call me back about the motors. I might go up to (4) 99's -or- Go down to (4) 95's.

Sooo, since I'm up and have "free time", I spent an hour inventorying (sp?) my woofers. Packed up my DD's & called Kim.

Welcome to the IHoP
wanna talk about a sucky morning? My work schedule is (4) 10 hour days a week. Monday - Friday. I get one weekday off. We rotate the day off on a monthly basis, so that everyone has a shot at a 3 day weekend or whatever. Well, I didn't realize that we'd started February's schedule... Guess who got up at 6:30 today to go to work?

And losing weight is the hardest thing to do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> true. but for that car, there are a crapton of 'glass body parts, 'glass seats, lexan, lightweight wheels, etc. -and- You can get most of the things mentioned for the same cost as a decent turbine setup.
- Question...

Welcome to the IHoP
have you tried the usual bolt ons? the easiest way to go faster is to lose weight. Rule #1.

Welcome to the IHoP
but... you want cheap easy power. N2O will always work. Dry induction kits start around $250-300.

Focus on the drivetrain first. 'Teg's have weak (performance-wise) drivelines supposedly... You want a more sporty feeling? Convert to stick.

For that motor stock... high boost = 12#'s +.

Question...
Cars that is... This was brought up in another (non-audio <gasp>) forum. I had to think on it a while. How many cars have you had? Now, this'll be easier for the younger end of the forum members... for the rest, a guesstimate will do I supppose. I started around 15 1/2 yrs old. In order, as best as I can recall: 85 Camaro 2.8 86 LTD wagon 302c.i. 87 Olds Calais 89 Olds Calais 82 Olds Cutlass 307 c.i. 86 Aries wagon 85 Olds Cutlass 90 Dodge Shadow 88 Cougar 92 Geo Metro 91 Thunderbird 302 c.i. 89 Olds Cutlass 94 Grand Cherokee (miss her) 99 Grand Am Gt * 02 Trailblazer * 90 Mustang Bought the 'Maro during the summer of being 15 yrs old. I just turned 24 a few weeks back. Some of these cars lasted no longer then 2 months.

define high boost? if you're only palling on 6-7 #'s then why spend the money? that motor better be in great shape if you are gonna spool it up with 130k stock. The block should take a beating, but i cant say the valvetrain will.- Welcome to the IHoP
