  1. Hey guys. i just purchased a 15" Fi.BL sub and before it gets to my house i was hoping to get a box design built. I am fully cabable of building anything i just need some help and advice designing it or possibly have someone design it for me. So heres what i got.. Vehicle : 2004 Chevy S10 ZR2 ext cab Location in the vehicle: in the cab behind the two seats (sub up, port up) Space available (Length x Width x Height): 45 x 18 x 28 Subwoofer make and model: Fi.BL D2 Subwoofer Size: 15" Number of Subwoofers:1 Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.): slot What type of music do you like?: mostly rap. i listen to a lot of decaf. Is your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: my goal is to be loud but for everyday music. i would also like to hit the lows. Tuning Freq (Hz): around 32 Hz Volume : 3.5 - 4.0 cubes Questions: should i go on the bigger side or the smaller side for the box? I keep on getting mixed info and doint know exactly what to do. Also does it matter if i go aero ported or slot ported? would it make a difference? also i am gonna be powering this with a Hifonics Brutus 1200.1 at 1 ohm. i am gonna end up getting a second battery and 1/0 gauge wire also. If anyone has any suggestions or is able to design me a box that would great! thanks guys. if you need any other info let me know.
