  3. My "Infrasonic filter" switch was set to 25hz. The speaker was used, and had been sitting around for awhile...if that helps. It did not seem like the cone was moving too violently according to what I have seen from a type r.
  4. I used super glue and glued it back around, I am waiting a bit and going to see if it works.

  8. I know this part is not in the correct section but wtf? My type r just blew, this amp says 500 watts rms @ 4 ohms, this sub is supposed to be 500 watts rms but others say it can handle a lot more. what?

  10. I read the sticky but I wanted to make sure I was correct, I have a alpine type r 10" dual 2 ohm sub and a kenwood KAC-9104D amp which is 500 watts rms @ 4 ohms. So is it; Voltage = sqrt(500 watts x 4 ohms) ?
