they had a comparison "test" between the 9500 vs the w7 and then they did another about y a square sub is so pointless.....but then they took maybe the two biggest caraudio boners ever and put them together....the jackhammer and a square sub.. its only a matter of time untill they figure out how to implement the W7 into a woofer....there will be noobs everywhere hitting"200 deebeez" with their mtx 1 farad caps and their 4000 watt max amps in prefab boxes...we wont be able to stop them...theyll taunt us...theyll say that they have never heard of our equipment and that "it must be from walmart"....we will all perish in their wake od distorted bass and muddy stock front stages.... so i say we stop this monster that calls itself MXT before it becomes the next Microsoft.... i say we march on mtx and kill it....

this thread should be closed right now IMO...there is more than likely going to be alot of false,second hand,or made up info flying around here from people that has never even seen this sub..im in no way a fan of MTX or the Jackhammer and,although highly unlikely,but maybe they have learned their leason from the original jackhammer..

the shipper just called me.he has been rather cool-headed about the whole situation and is being very professional..he said that he paid a shipping store to package the subs and ship them out.he also said he was willing to file the claim and pay me for a recone,which is all i asked for,so i wouldnt have to wait for the claim to come through.

u can blame Drew for the crappy pics...but u can still get an idea...and theres no way in hell that this basket could have been saved..it was broken in at least 7 places.

Long story short short... i bought two NS 15's from a guy on CA.com.good guy.he shipped what he said he would ship....but what i received was...ehhh...well...just look......

im in my "mech" school right now....we are learning about the combustion section and various other sections of jet engines..and i can tell u that a sub is in no way related to a combustion chamber....its just marketing and btw, a box made of .75in mdf thats braced well will be stronger than a box made with 2 layers of .75in mdf thats not braced

No, Sean is not like the ca.com moderators. He actually gives a chit about things, knows what he is talking about, and will help you if you ask an intelligent question rather than post one word replies. i can tell that he knows alot about car audio..ill give him that but he can come off as a dick to some of the newer members..i have really noticed this the past few days and its getting under my skin...i understand that patience can sometimes grow thin but people WILL ALWAYS post dumb threads but still should not be treated like chit because of it...
