whats ur thoughts on the rd sonance 15... have a guy on caraudioforum.com trying to sell me one... he emailed me this after i posted about getting an ICON 15: I have a nice deal on a better sub if interested. GURANTEED or your mney back RD Sonance 15 V.2. New to the line and rated 1000 rms and has an aluminum voice coil 50mm. Can't beat it. $325 with warranty

have u guys figured any more details out? if its in effingham i may try to make it... itll be about a 5hr drive but id like to hear some icons!

yeah they seem to give some stupid advise sometimes.. couldnt find another response from over there but it said i shouldnt go with an ICON and should get something more musical

posted on caraudioforum.com, here is a response i got: i'm tellin you right now if you listen to a lot of metal/rock then you're familiar with the fast double bass hits, and a 15" won't be so good for that. I'd go with something smaller like 12's or 2 10's even, the response times are much better, and they are better for the fast accurate beats

dont want to spend alot of money but want a good sounding system.. ctx65cs comps upfront and the icon out back should do that.. never heard a system in a blazer b4, is it pretty easy to get loud in them?

yeah cant really justify spending $200 more on the 3 subs. could use that 200 on a decent headunit.. what size sealed box would give the 15 the tightest bass?

thats probly what i will do.. listen to rock/metal, dont need a ton of bass.. would just like to beable to get the blazer shakin when i want too

would the difference in output be alot? the price difference is quite a bit... icon would be around $200 less..

what kind of output u think the idq would have with around 300w apiece?

plan on getting a set of ID ctx65cs comps powered by a kicker zx350.2, doors will be deadened and have mdf baffles.. for sub(s) would u go with 3 idq 10s powered by a zx1000.1 at 2.66 ohm or a icon 15 powered by the zx1000.1 at 2 ohms? will be in a sealed box in a 02 blazer.. lookin for sq but still be able to get loud.. listen to 95% rock/metal so i want tight clean bass

to get tight bass from a 12 or 15" icon what size sealed box would u recommend for each? alway thought tens were tighter but have since learned different

its going in the back of an 02 xtreme blazer so space isnt an issue..

has anyone heard an icon 10 with 1000w goin to it in a sealed box? kinda leaning towards the single sub set up

birthsheet says 1156w so at full tilt they would get 578w... gains will be set properly so they wont see that much

with atleast 300w more to the ss will it be close? his kickers have more that enough out put for me

thats what i though..may be awhile b4 i get all the equipment.. shouldnt be to hard to sound better than the other systems at work

would the lp for the subs be ok at 80hz?

i want to have the best system at work...heres what im up against 2 10" planet audio with 300x2 planet audio amp.. planet audio speakers in the doors with another pa amp 2 10" sony xplodes with a 900w sony amp..stock speakers, no amp 2 10" kicker l7 with spl 1440 amp..stock speakers, no amp 2 10" pioneer with 900w sony amp...stock speakers, no amp cuz he doesnt know why the hell anyone would amp their door speakers! besides the zx1000.1 i have pg rsd65cs comps and 125 sqft of raamaat.. also buyin a planet audio vx1502 for the comps from my buddy for cheap
