  1. Most people my age (20) really don't know what SQ is, and they don't seem to care. I always hear people saying "I got a crazy system" I ask them what they have and it's always subs with large amps. I never ever heard someone tell me about their components or about their front stage. For me it has to do with how your brought up in life. I was brought up around hi-fi home audio, my father was a big Bowers & Wilkins fan, so growing up I was always used to hearing good SQ. Kids that don't get the opportunity to hear these great loudspeakers don't realize what their missing out on. SQ live on SPL will survive only as long as someone's eardrum can survive. And yes obtaining loudness is easier than obtaining clarity.
  2. Awesome pics and vids, keep up the informative log! Do you have the Bose stereo with the three speakers in the dash? I will be getting a 08' altima and it has the Bose stereo, I was thinking either a 3-way, but putting the mids in stock locations prob. wouldn't produce its best sound. Let me know what your brainstorming idea's are.
  3. Dayumm, you better go all out on equipment now! nothing to lose!
  4. Those drivers look nice
  5. Good to hear !
  6. If the video is on your pc, post the link or upload it, would be a lot easier to determine the song.
  7. Good to know, already thought of using LL Pro for next car.
  8. Well that's good news, I was going to recommend that you eat healthy and clean and you should feel even better. Time to get better!
  9. Either 1/2 or 2, for a single driver. Thanks Jim makes more sense now
  10. You should ask him, how he calculates all this or what he uses and share it with us
  11. Harrisonburg then? Harrisburg is in PA
  12. And I'm guessing Dual 1 can be wired at 1 ohm or 4 ohm? Edit: Most class-d's run on 1.5 - 4 ohms
  13. Where do the crutchfield shows take place anyway?
  14. I also had the same question about the Dual 1 or 2, and the ohm loads they would have on the amplifier for one or two subs.
  15. Lol what a nice guy

  23. I have a 04' Civic, I drive a decent amount about 12K miles a year, little above average which is 10K I believe. I fill up usually once a week, or sometimes once every 1.5 week. Enough times goes by where I actually forget what day I filled up the tank. Here where I live its $3.85 gal.
  24. Price range? I would go with dave's recommendation.
