I am new to audio so I am going to play dumb. Can I have boston acoustic 3 ohm speakers in the front and 4 ohm jl audio in the rear or is the ohm difference going to cause a problem.

I just got my first set of Fi subs, I got 2 ssd's. On one of the subs the terminal is jammed opened and it is difficult to close or open it. Does this happen normally or?

I have the exact same question as the original poster, but my only difference is I have a 145 amp alt stock will that be fine with a kinetik in the back and the big 3 running 1500 at 1 ohm.

From the pics it looks like you already have them in seperate chambers, so why are you asking? Edit: x3 on the program, what is it? His was a change to my original picture, mine I did it in paint and it looks crap compared to what he did. lol But for what reason do you separate them I would probably prefer just one box not separated what is the biggest difference.

My friend has an 04 infiniti fx 35 and wanted to know if it is possible for him to keep his stock radio which Is a bose system on a stock 300 watt amp and just change the sub, is this possible or will he have to change out the amp too? Is it that easy, can he just replace both the amp and sub and keep the same radio? he is just looking for more bass to add to his system. I believe it has 11 speakers and 2 subs.

SSD's run 800rms and the Q's run 1000rms both are made for SQ the Q's can be used in slightly smaller applications I think. I bought the SSD's 2 weeks ago they are beautiful subs. So I imagine the Q's will be nice as well just need more power than the SSD's they have a little more hit.

why? I just do, I have a lot of people that ride in the car with me and in a big suv I am not going to just have speakers in the front and have my friends having just bass in their ears. I understand there are many ways to have good sound up in the front, but if I was doing that there would be a lot more than just pro 60's up front but I want good speakers up front and decent in the back if I need more up front that will come after hearing it.

I want back speakers though so any suggestions. I have 2 12 inch SSD's in the back and need my speakers to be loud.

are you suggesting components or no back speakers at all?

I need a set of 5 1/4 speakers for my back doors. I have an 04 escalade in the front I was thinking kickpanels with Boston acoustic pro 60's and in the back I thought I should do some coaxials, but don't know what would be good, I have a sundown 100.4 powering them and money not more than 350 for the back speakers. give me some ideas.

Id say just go wth the BL! sounds to me like thats exactly what you're going after if you're looking for a bit more SPL from the subwoofer The only problem is that you didn't read his first post. "But I want to hear all the notes, and have some good SQ, while at the same time have a loud hard hitting system (not SPL)." Go with the Q if you want more SQ.

I am just gonna have one set of pro 60's in the front and one set of coaxials in the back not sure what yet. I have an 04 escalade and in the trunk I will have 2 12 ssd's on a 1500 and the front speakers will be on a 100.4.

Does anyone know if boston acoustic pro 60's are too deep to fit in kick panels in a large suv? What do you think about kick panels verses stock door speakers.
