x2 on that Ed's setup is superbly designed, it has a very broad frequency range which surprised me... sounded very clean but no slouch in the volume department either! And Steve's 8's were hittin' very hard. I was very impressed by them! Thanks everybody for coming out! Hey thanks fellas. Took way more time designing and planning it than it took to install everything ie the sealed mini wall etc. Glad you guys liked it. I liked all the systems, Hugo, yours was really clean. Big clear sound off of little power...amazing. Wish I woulda heard Jon's and inkfx's systems. Semi heard Steve's but didn't get an official demo. Vic was definately the loudest there....Oscar you were close.. Either way, glad everyone could make it and for those that couldn't, hopefully we'll see you at the next meet...or the Texas Heatwave.

Yeah thanks for the pics Hugo (pretty sure thats your name). Had a great time out there and got to witness some loud and clean ass systems. Except for the rabid over-sized mosquitos, and the noise complaint, it was perfect. Jake, I think those were the only people that got metered. Cops keep ruining our meets (or should say people calling them) So if you could find or setup a place, I agree, we should do this more often. Number one thing stopping us is a location where we are free to bump and not disturb anyone. Its gonna be tough finding one, but I am sure theres one out there.

I dont think no one ever is...I say once you hit 150+, you've made it. I know I wasn't satisfied with the 145.5 we measured in my car... Once you get some batts, a HO alt, and a LOT of deadner, I bet you'll add a couple decibels.

What sub?

Build looks excellent. Want to know why you decided on facing the subs towards the vented chamber? I heard that you're suppose to have the basket/motor part of the sub into the vented chamber, as well as keeping the subs away from the port/aeros whenever possible (you aren't suppose to see the sub through the port). Read that somewhere a while ago. Not saying I agree with it, Hell, you can see part of the mag of my sub through the aeros on my 4th order. I'd like to know if there is any truth to that Other than that, I had the same results as you when moving from a ported to a 4th order. Bass is very deep.

Are you making your new enclosure above the window line? Keeping the same amp? Lets see some pics when you get it done.

Yep 2004 Chevy Malibu walled off port up top. I fully intend for this thing to rape numbers within a month or so. Each Warden is fed by an Mmats 4000, and I may get 2 more. One for each coil. That;s how ya do it son. lol I'll be watching.
