What did you major in?

Yeah, we have CNC plasma and a few plasma cutters around the shop. I tried running a flat bead on stainless with Tig and it wasn't even close to running a bead on mild steel.

Yeah, im also going to college, just a handful of classes till I'm done and earn a certificate in welding, then I can get a job that I like to do and pays better. Taking a Tig class in January; so far I can only run flat beads with Tig, I think it's going to be a pain in the ass,but in a 4 month class, I'll have it down by the end of the semester Welding can be fun sometimes...I like mig myself..but I never really got into it as much as some of the other courses I had to take in school..Yeah I like mig, stick, and Tig. Mig being the easiest of the three IMO, and the hell with oxy-acatylene I don't have enough patience for that.

What about Rockford Fosgate P3's?I heard a pair a while back and they sounded pretty good and aren't expensive.

After some practice I got her set up and dialed in. So I figured I would make some parts that were needed. That's cool, in the welding shop at the college I go to they just ordered and received eight new miller Dynasty 350 Tig/Stick machines and they are pretty damn nice IMOI have all kinds of goodies I can play with, machine shop and assembly shops also.At home? Yeah there's a machine shop right next to the welding class, although I have no experience with lathes or any of the stuff in that shop i will be taking a machine shop class in the fall semester.
