  1. so what do people recommend for a ported box for 2 10" RL-i's?? im looking more for something to shake the chit out of u when ur in the car lol specs say 0.3 - 1.2 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 22 - 36 Hz but its pretty vague IMO... any help would be appreciated as i need more output then what im getting now
  2. well i was looking for a 1ohm stable amp but i guess this will do, picked it up today 2 x 300W @ 4 ohms 2 x 500W @ 2 ohms 1 x 1200W @ 4 ohms bridged http://www.realmofexcursion.com/ampguts/MA_HK898/ this thing looks brand new! that litte mark on the chrome is jsut some sort of glue, it comes off if u pick at it hoping to get a TL reading soon as i would look to see how much the ported box will change things
  3. haha, someone else commented on the tv aswell... i guess it was ugly betty? i just turned teh TV on so it wasnt so quite at my place then started to rewire my new subs i wanna toss these in my car but i dont wanna use the amp thats in there right now to power them(lanzar) lol i know chitty amp, i have a Hifonics BX1500D and a BX1000D that both need to get some repair work done to them the bx1500D should be fine on these right? seems like people are tossing 1500RMS to a pair of 8s just fine
  4. picked these up today for a decent price IMO and the bracing, box wil be for sale shortly(going ported ) if anyone has any ported box designs, please share them
