  1. I drive a Chevy Silverado 2002 extended cab, and I have the box built for 2 sundown X15s that sundown recommends on their website. My question is, will anything be effected if I put the subs on top facing the roof and the port in the middle facing my windshield. Or should I have it subs up, port up? I'm just wondering if there is a difference and what would be best. Thanks
  2. Does anyone know what the tuning is of the dual X15 box sundown recomends? And how many cubic ft it is?
  3. I had an sa15 then upgraded to the X15. Im giving the X15 a clean 2200 rms at 13.8v and it loves it and it sounds very clean and loud. Also the X series pounds the low notes, i could definatly tell a difference from the Sa15. My box was 4.1cubic ft tuned to 32hz. I know this is late but im just trying to help out a little bit.
  4. Thanks for the input man, i appreciate it.
  5. Decaf mostly. most of my music is from 20-50hz range. And my setup will be the x15 on a ameircan bassph4000md and four 6x9s under the back seat of my truck. or possible the zv3 if someone buys my current sub and box, but i really do like loud clean lows and ive been looking into the x15.
  6. What would be the best idea for tuning a box to a sundown audio x15?
  7. i was thinking that just now, and that makes since, thank you
  8. thank you I lol'd at the 32Hz box, weird sound at 26. Hmmmm. Lol yea i know. at 20 hz the noise is not there at all, and it sounds good and clean..
  9. 26hz does it the most. I usually listen to mostly decaf music but these songs with the lower frequencies does this annoying sound most. A friend and I thought it was air leaks but fixed that and it's not as bad as it was. I just need some other input on what might be causing this sound. The sub is an sa15 on an American bass ph4000md. The box is 4.1cubes tuned to 32hz
  10. What could describe the noise of clipping/clicking when my sub hits a low note?
  11. yes i do, thank you

  13. I am debating about getting another sa 15 and building a new box, or just sell the sa 15 and put the money to a new zv.3 15. The box i currently have is 4.1cubic ft tuned to 32hz. My amp is an american bass ph4000md. I would just like other input from others to help make my decision.
