  1. Yes the hixmax only increases coil wind height, nothing on the motor changes as far as I know.

Warm here too, quite a change from the past week
  3. The sensitivity of the human ear sucks, the best bandwidth is between 1,000 and 5,000 Hz, with a pretty steep rolloff below 1,000, so his 150+ subbass doesn't do as much damage as people think, it's pouring midwoofers in there that will take out his hearing.
  4. We need to see YOUR amplifier to see if anything might have disconnected
  5. Yes she does. She's 23! And FINE. Her wedding is this coming friday. I'm about her age...I should hit her up
  6. WHAT?? are you kidding me? lol the sub is THE thing that will get hurt by clipping. when you clip, the sub actually moves less and has a bit of a pause at each peak. so there is less air being forced through the voice coil and it overheats. just look at a sign wave, that wave is exactly what a speaker is doing. if there is a flat part, the speaker is holding at that point. 95Honda is correct.

  19. With that amplifier, get D1 coils, that's all you need. If you want to increase resale value get the cooling and heat ring put on
  20. Interesting
  21. Well it's difficult for a stock battery to sustain the vehicle and the amplifiers, you have two options, upgrade your stock abttery to the largest that will fit, or wire a second battery into the electrical system in the rear of the vehicle by the amplifier, personally I'd rather have one in the rear, because you can always go larger if needed. You can get a Sundown Audio SAX-1200.D for $375, the woofers would be about $500, $30 for some MDF to build an enclosure or more to have someone build you one, wiring and cables will be another $100, and another $100-$200 for a good HU, that leaves about $300 for a battery, I would put a D975 in the back, it's about $200.
  22. Get the largest that fits under your hood, they can be purchased here in the "SSA Store" at the top of the page. What are your battery compartment dimensions?
