  1. High rise yet more efficient...lol
  2. I think it needs more port, but those will work well

It will weaken the case, definitely talk to Nathan at XS.
  4. I agree with Shizzzon, a single 10" in optimal airspace with adequate port will excel over two choked 10's.

Cans without an amp is just like door speakers off a HU, sure they will sound okay but an amplifier makes them sound amazing

Those Sony's are VERY heavy in the low end lol

Cancun is pretty safe, and absolutely gorgeous.
  8. If the subsonic is set above what your trying to play there will be no output depending on where it was set and the crossover slope.

YOU haven't heard them??? I'd NEVER buy headphones without listening to a crap ton of them. They are very personal. I agree. I didn't follow that advice with my earbuds though. Hard to "try" them. I did return 2 pair and buy different ones though untill I got what I want. Even then I ended up getting one more pair and giving the old ones to the wifey. If I don't like 'em I'll sell them Spent a few hours at Head-Fi yet?
  10. Basically! He is yet to reply to it though Did someone drop the banhammer?

I pulled the trigger on the Grado cans, the only bad reviews I could find about them is people bitching cause other people could here because of the open design, so they should do great
  14. Butyl based I believe.
  15. That amp will do fine. The only reason there are different impedance is for matching amplifiers to subwoofers. In order to wire to that Kenwood you will need a D1 woofer.
  16. Realistically, you'll only go deaf from a front stage
  17. "cut the other rear" Hmm.. Better explanation please on what you mean? The other rear speaker, you said you only had one wire cut from one of the rear speakers wired to the LOC, now you have the other one to that same rear cut and connected to your LOC increasing voltage to 1v right? You can cut the other speaker wires as well.
  18. Good thinking Drew. We're all here to help ya bud
  19. It should make a big difference If you want to cut the other rear, wire the positives together, and the negatives together you will increase voltage even more.
