  1. I have to be honest. Your not a very good at filming or photographing lol
  2. Is it a new Q or an old one? It it is new, and does NOT have a pole vent(a hole on the very back of the sub) you don't need any clearance. If it is old, it will have a hole in the bottom of the woofer, the minimum clearance between that and the back of the enclosure needs to be half the hole width.
  3. ....for a Butterworth filter I've never seen her in a crossover?
  4. I forsee 4" coils, and 11" spiders

    Oh that made my day!
  6. Well then I have 2 choices for ya man 1) Look at your avatar chick and smile and feel better about yourself. 2) Grow thicker skin. We do not baby our people here. J *boing* Yeah I chose option #1.
  7. Depending on the woofer, more or less port area is required to be effective.
  8. Compromise. In order to obtain a higher maximum amperage output, idle amperage decrease, and vice versa.

    Don't break your hip!
  12. I bounce between an [sSA] and [CLZZ] clan tag
  13. It is humanly IMPOSSIBLE to HEAR ANYTHING below 20Hz................. Euhm, no it's not. ( i hope ur'e comment was sarcasm ) If you think you can, your lying. If your "hearing" anything it is mechanical noise of the driver. You cannot hear a sound wave below 20 Hz. You CAN however feel it, tactile sensations are a big part of low frequency reproduction.
  14. Me feelings were hurt
  15. The port will suffice, but more would not hurt
  16. What are your space measurements?

    Someone is overcompensating
  18. Port length needs to be 14.72" long to achieve 32 Hz. tuning, but you do need a lot more port area.
  19. The calculator itself works if the port does not have any bends in it, if it does the calculator is off on tuning frequency. I just wanted to make sure you weren't trying to fit an 18" in a car, with an SUV you'll be in good shape.
  20. What vehicle? The RE calculator is off BTW.
  21. Duran replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Of course you guys like it, it looks like a Raptor!
  22. What do you mean by "too much sub"? To be effective, whether being loud or trying to move tons of air, it's not about cramming as many woofers in a vehicle as you can. There is a thing as too much woofer.
