Why exactly would that make it better? When they are mounted at right angles, they are very prone to failure due to vibration. When they are mounted straight(or almost ) up, the stress is taken off the legs of the mosfets. That is one very fast way to get an idea for build quality. That's what I was thinking, I just wanted a technical explanation.

Wow, that was very close actually. When I drove up to Idaho for the weekend, I saw an Audi R8 pulled over in the road. Damn that's a sweet car. My neighbor has one, doesn't drive it in the winter though. It would perform well in the winter, AWD!
