Don't do that with a 3000D.- Welcome to the IHoP
I don't blame you, what was your other trip to the ER about? I know about your car accident already what else? hand slipped on the pressure washer wand, took a good chunk of meat off my right pinky; ER doctor put some Neosporin and a Band-Aid on it and charged the insurance company 120 bucks for it I did that to my pointer finger last summer! Yeah I'll probably just bandage it myself unless I see bone next time it happens I've never gone to the ER for anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. With EMT training there aren't many things that scares you- Welcome to the IHoP
Mine has been abnormally fast the past few hours.- Playgirl in da house
Old thread, but that's what happens when I explore Marks new "Similar Topics" feature lol You guys really went coo-coo over a female member hahahahaha- Port Placement In a wall
I was making my enclosure based on this picture. I should have clarified if that was the outside dimensions, that's how I designed mine.- Port Placement In a wall
Increase port width to 8" with no length it's tuned to 38.44 Hz. with 240 In2. What do you mean by "No length"? My design is built with no port length, the physical port length will be 0.- Port Placement In a wall
Where exactly is the misinformation? Look at our enclosures, they are both different of course we'll get different tuning.- Port Placement In a wall
No, it falls in the recommended range for your enclosure size. Between 189 and 252 In2. With below recommended port area you will choke the subs, with too much port you risk mechanical failure.- Port Placement In a wall

You want to tune that high?- Port Placement In a wall
Yes double thick so it would be a thickness of 1.5inch Okay with 1.5" all around I get 13.86 Ft3 tuned to 30.97 Hz. with 195 In2.- Welcome to the IHoP

I came up with 16.50 Ft.3 NET tuned to 28.38 Hz. with 195 In.2 surface area using 3/4" MDF all around. Are you using double thick?- Port Placement In a wall
Are you talking about port volume? If so, it's not included in the NET volume. I don't know what you mean by subtracting the width.- Welcome to the IHoP

To compete you'll want the style you designed, for music it will still be fine, sounding clean goes out the window with two 18's behind your head lol- Welcome to the IHoP
Wow that's terrible...They did the same thing here, on Jefferson Avenue the whole street was brick with a trolley track down the middle, they left the center of the road and the tracks there though They are gorgeous right now- Port Placement In a wall

Where the hell is everyone traveling? Around the holidays things get slow. went up to the Hub City to have week long Christmas "fun" with the family; 3,100+ feet of elevation change really fucks with your sinuses BTW Come visit me and your head might explode- I need help picking out a demo vehicle
I agree. From what i have seen every one will come in to "hear" an insane wall setup, but when you take lets say 2 12s and get them loud as all hell it seems more affordable to customers who are looking for daily setups. As well as the ones who want the set up 3 or 4 15s. my .02 That's one of the reasons I have two 12's. - System won't work.
