  1. Its getting close. Anyone else plan on attending?
  2. I'm not worried about being easy as you can see;)
  3. LOL...naw its an old gamboy! As far as finish it will be a combination of vinyl and paint. I haven't decided which way, but it will either be paint inside with vinyl surround or vice versa.
  4. Don't worry guys. This is just s test fit. There will be a little more clearance then what you see in the last pick. Plus I can turn the basket a bit to get some more distance between the two.
  5. On to the good stuff...So I knew it was gonna be some work to get these in. And its almost like a puzzle. Every piece needs to go in in certain order to make it all work. But, I was able to get one side in to give me an idea of what it would take....Let me say this, its not fun:( But I am pleased to say, "It does work!" So sexy!!!!! Can we say tight....!
  6. Alright, I was able to get all the panels finally covered with filler. And all panels are pretty straight. So I went ahead with getting them installed so I could test fit the subs to make sure I can get them to fit. I also got to play around with my new scopemeter. I hooked it up to my pioneer to mess around and get a feel for the new meter. It is going to make a world of difference going forward I can already tell. So on to some updates that everyone wants....First the panels. Installed... Tight fit...
  7. Does anyone plan on camping this year? There are already a few of us planning to camp right next to the track(host hotel is 7-10 miles away). We are probably gonna set up friday and party thru the weekend. If you are interested LMK and I can fill you in on the details. Camping is ~$35 and the hotel is like $95-100 after taxes...just an FYI!
  8. Some measurements.... With the lights on... Off... And just for fun....
  9. So my LED's came in yesterday. And what can I say...these things rock! They are bright as hell and should light up the inside pretty well! I chose the bright white for a neutral lighting color. I was thinking about using blue or maybe red. But in the end decided on white. I got home and opened them up and hooked em up to a power supply right away. They seem like they are quality built and I don't think I will have any issues. So onto the pictures.... Package...(electro-static) What comes with them... LED's themselves...
  10. I said street max and on...
  11. So......what was the problem?!?!
  12. Then its probably not a True RMS meter. But it is reading correct. Did you turn the gain up any like I suggested? Depending on your deck you may only see ~.5-1.2ACv if your gain is all the way down.
  13. What you are seeing is normal as far as the display reading 0.00ACv. The reason you aren't getting any amplification is cause the gain is all the way down. You are probably reading the RCA voltage. What happens when you turn the gain up to 1/2, with volume at 25?
  14. Never know....Like I said it is a 3x event. That is what draws out the big boys....I would say anyone in Street Max on will be doing 50+ at least, with a couple 160's thrown in as well.
  15. Have you checked the battery in the DMM? How high did you turn the gain? What volume are you using? Is it a test tone?
  16. This is a 3x event so there will be loud vehicles there. Usually the loudest ones being 62+. Last year SS1-2 was 60+ and SS3-4 was 60+. My last build was doing 54+@30hz. I believe Blake will return with his Suburban and Mike may come down. A few of Team DOA will be there again doing 55+ and a few others probably. So expect to see a lot of loud vehicles.
  17. You can expect probably 10-12 cars doing mid 50's+ and most are daily ground pounders. It will be great to see the new venue!
  18. And here is some mock-up pictures.... The frame-up holding the weight of the sub by itself.. That's it for now. LED's should be here today or tomorrow.
  19. This is the other panel after I sanded it down and trimmed the edges. This is the first layer of filler... Keep in mind it was 25 degree's out. So my mud was thick as shit! I put it in front of the salamander for a bit, but it didn't help much:(
  20. I got some more done this weekend. Between a sick baby and the weather I slipped in a couple hours of work. It really sucks doing FG in the cold! Things just don't work right.... So after learning a couple things from the other side, this panel went much more smoothly. I was able to bang it out in just a couple hours. On to the pics...The frame I had to modify it a bit to get the ring in this one. But I will be back filling it to make it strong once I'm done. The stretch.. Trimmed...
  21. Ill be there with an suv and 56 kids....
  22. Well it will be nice to meet new people!
  23. For everyone going. Stop by and say what's up. Ill be in a silver jeep probably near the team concepts guys. We'll probably be camping next to the track this year as well.
