I will be running 0 gauge from both batteries to the amp along with the big 3, also will be replacing my stock alternator with a 220 amp one. My cars battery is a duralast gold and i've got a kinetik hc600b along with it. Is that enough to be able to run a 3k amp? Voltage runs around 13.5 in my car aswell

Haha sweet and I sure as hell hope so! Gonna put it on a 3k hifonics I've never heard anything louder than 1000w

Well i already bought the sp4... Alot of people seem to advertise ssa subwoofers on this forum site

So if i do 4.7 cu ft and tune to 34hz with 65.25 sq in of port area it will have a decent response, slap the lows, peak around 40hz, and be a good daily?

So using your enclosure recommendations, will the sp4 perform more musicly or peaky? (Using 65.25 sq in of port area)

I was hoping for a peak of around 40hz... What would you recommend for enclosure size port size?

So maybe tune it to 32hz and it should be fine around higher notes? Around what frequency(s) will the sp4 15 perform it's best?

I like lows but i'm not to crazy about em... I just don't want to loose bass that's around 55-80hz if i tune around 32

Just ordered a SP4 15 from Fi and am hoping to get a box design going for it before it's to arrive. I'm not the best with designing boxes and tuning them therefore hopefully someone may be able to help. Max trunk space available for enclosure: H=16" W=30" D=26" Was wanting to tune the box @ 36hz with about 5 cu ft. Any help on cut sizes and port dementions?

Okay, so out of the three other Fi woofers, which one suits better for decent sq and great loudness?

I did but i'm very indecisive.... I did further research and added DC audio as an option... I can never decide for myself so i'm asking others for there advice considering i haven't had a wide variety of woofers to listen to ever since i began this hobby

Looking for decent/good SQ and impressive loudness/output. Planning to install 2 12's of one of these types of woofers. Often listen to rap/hip hop, dubstep, and metal. I will be pushing both subs with a Hifonics Zues 3200.1D I have 5 cu ft to work with for both subs, 2.5 for each. That being the max enclosure, it may vary with each sub and tuning.. Anyway can anyone help me with the best choice in woofer?

I have 5 cu ft at max for an enclosure. I've heard allot of excitement over the power sa12s can produce, along with their ability to be pushed way beyond rms. i just didn't know if Fi or maybe DC audio had any 12s that performed better around the price of the sa's? Or if the sa's are really that good?

What would you recomend the best dual 12 or single 15 set up would be for getting loud under $400?

If anything i just want the loudest i can get with 2000 watts, 5 cu ft, and a sub and/or subs that will cost roughly around $400

I can fit a 5 cu ft enclosure in the trunk, that's the smallest recomended for the 18 BL. I'm just curious if having 2000 watts on the BL will be louder then my set up right now? At the moment i have a hifonics brx 1100.1d pushing the 2 Fosgate P2D2 12s. As for my electrical system, i just have the stock 105 amp alternator, duralast gold battery under the hood, and a kenetik hc600b as my secondary battery. I will be upgrading to a 200 amp alternator and a hifonics brx 2000.1d with 2000 watts to push either the 18 BL fully loaded or the 2 ssd 12s. I'm just stuck on which to choose because i've never heard an Fi sub and am curious which of the 2 subs will give me more output? And yes i have a 99 grand am
