umm..i was looking recently at steve meade design for his current box and i was kinda fascinated o how a short port brings about such a response ..ive plotted some on winisd but could someone help on the type and how it works..to me it just seems like hole in the box...just sayin..help will be greatly appreciated..thanks .brandon

yea guys..umm ive already done the big 3..no biggie...and ive got a rebuilt alt puttin out 300 amps........but i was wonderin what would be the least and optimum output from an alt if im going to be runnin 2 fi bls..18s ..thnx

you wanna run that by me again skippy? Ummmmm It lacked low end authority.... Im not saying it didn't have any low end just didn't have the low end that I was looking for... Im sure the Fi Q would have suited my tastes more.. Before the BL I had a pair of 12" SSD's with copper coils and they had awesome low end authority... BL is a great sub that I won't take away from it just didn't appeal to my likings overall.. ye man...glad you state what you think about it..much appreciated.

ummm...should i be concerned at this point ..cuz i am a low boy but from what ive read..these woofers kill the low end .maybe not as good as the q but ...........bl not low...u need a better enclosure.

dude...awesome.........liking this stuff much.....thank you god for making scott=fi..woohoo what do you plan to power those 18's? and what kinda auto do you have well..as of now..my dad let me have the corrolla..old model hatch..however its tricked with red candy..mags..and a customed engine..as for electrical..the alt was rebuilt and puts out a mean 300 amps...along with this i recently bought a kinetic HC2000 to help..i plan on getting the mtx ta81001(3000watt mono)or maybe 2 lower powered and strap em cuz im not lookin to beat the crap outta the subs..just comfortably loud..(im lying)lol..maybe crazy loud who knows

well..im from trinidad..u know in the caribbean ..sometimes in miami .i found ssa a long time ago just always searching for stuff so i just decided why the heck not ..i should become a mem and just ask the pros at this site myself..also im always on ROE and alot o guys talk bout ssa .so here i am..let the fun begin..oh im 15

hi all at ssa..i decided to post this since someone on this forum wanted me to newb sign in..god knows why...but anyways im from trinidad..and is probably going to the first one in my country to order fi subs since i never saw them here..so just sayin hi

well ..i guess you could but u could ...as long as you remain within the recommendations..(provided you want to)however u will have to work out your tuning..especially on par with using 1 port per chamber..you wouldnt want any port turbulence neither throwing off of the tuning.winisd and bassbox pro 6 has worked well for me..try it who knows. :drink40:
