  1. I have a 2005 Honda CR-V EX. This is the stuff I ordered for my system: 2005 CR-V EX System Head Unit - JVC KD-AVX-44 Sub - 15
  2. Honestly I don't remember, I've been trying to get help with building a system for a while now. So I've been to different forums looking for suggestions.
  3. I was looking at this one PHOENIX GOLD RSD1200.1 . I asked around other people said that the Alpine would probably be better. Should I get that one, or should I look for another RSD? I would be curious as to how? (other then foot print) The reasoning I got was, that the Alpine puts out good power, but it doesn't use too many amps or what ever from the vehicle. Which would make it a lil easier to add another amp and not worry about having to get a new alternator. Well that's what I got out of the posts.
  4. Well, I just bought the Q-15 and the SAE-1000D.
  5. Well, I just bought the Q-15 and the SAE-1000D.
  6. I haven't ordered the sub yet. Is the BP option needed? Or is it just a luxury? It's a metallic plug that allows for better venting to the cone of the woofer to allow more power handling. If you want to put more than about 1200rms I would get the BP option. It would allow you to run a 1500 on it. I honestly don't see the need. 1000rms or so will be plenty to get loud and sound good. Thanks. That's what I was thinking. I need to have extremely loud subs.

  8. That amp sounds tempting. But I think I may go with the SAE-1000D.
  9. Unless something changes. I think I'm going to go with the SAE-1000D.
  10. "You're the 2nd person to suggest this to me. Where can I purchase it? I went to the site, and I didn't see any online dealers." Scroll back to the top of this page, look in the blue nav bar towards the left side where it says "Shop" and get busy. I own a 1000d myself and it is a bad ass amp and is very resonably priced for its output. If you have any doubts, hit the Sundown Audio section here on the forum and have a look at the power testing on the 1000d. Thanks. I see the SAZ-1500D is also on sale. I got to head down to the Sundown Audio section and read about the 2 amps.
  11. You're the 2nd person to suggest this to me. Where can I purchase it? I went to the site, and I didn't see any online dealers. I appreciate the suggestion. But can I get a reasoning behind it?
  12. In a week or so i'm going to be ordering a 15" Q. What are some amps you're using for the Q. These are what i'm looking at, at the moment. Alpine PDX 1.1000 PHOENIX GOLD RSD1200.1 Hifonics Brutus BXi 1608D
  13. Kicker PKD1 1/0 AWG Dual Amp Install Kit Is it this one? Yeah, that's the one. I ordered it on 6/4 and it was $94.99 if you count shipping. Maybe you can send them an email and ask why it is $30 more now? I was looking at that one. I think they have a couple on Ebay for under $100. I think Next week I'll start buying all the parts to the system. I appreciate all the help everyone.
