  7. and man was it a pain in the ass but for $110 brand new I cant really complain. Well my old battery went out on me cuz it was some crappy energizer battery and it was under full trade in warranty sooooo I pulled it out jumped in my dads lil 86 civic and rolled away got there and asked if I could upgrade the energizer for the optima at a discount. They told me I could get full value for the energizer applied to the optima yellowcap ($80) plus I got another $10 off because they price matched checker auto =). So I got the battery took it home and this is where the trouble started... I plopped it into its place and tried to through the stock terminal connections on there... yeaaaaaaaaaaa didn't fit =( because the negative connector was a metal L bracket with the connector on the end and it wasn't long enough there was no way in hell it was going to fit and the positive connector has this fuse box connected to it so I couldn't get it on there. So I go back down to pepboys and see if they have anything I could use to extended it... With a little rummaging around I found some terminal connectors that had a wire attached to a lil metal piece that you can throw a bolt through and then an idea broke out! I picked up two of the connectors and went back home to hook em up. So on the stock negative connector I just cut of the ring part of it so I still had the bolt hole on the connector... bolted that to the connector and went on to the positive connector luckily I didn't have to cut anything this time all I had to do was take a bolt off that connected the fuse box to the terminal connector. So I took that off and bolted the other one on connected both posts and I was ready to go =) So the point of the story is.... if they say it wont fit in your car..... make it haha Ill get pics of the setup on here when I get home and a link to the connectors I used if anyone is interested in it. =)

  16. Anybody know of a place in AZ where I can get my alternator rewound? Because I cant seem to find an HO alt anywhere sooo I think I have to just get it redone.... any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!
  17. oh.... my.... god.... his car reminds me of the scene in Road Trip where the lil skinny guy gets laid and has the girls panties and they asked him if he killed a cheetah hahaha
  18. Im probably gonna be running a Hifonic BXI Brutus 1600d, and I have no Idea how much my alt is putting out. It is a stock so It should be putting out atleast 300 amps. ummm what kind of car do you drive? because I truley doubt it puts out 300 amps stock... Shouldn't be higher than like 130 unless you drive some huge semi with a million features Im just quoting the guy I bought the truck from. I drive a '96 chevy S10. i looked it up for you and im finding that the stock alternator (depending what brand it is) is putting out 100-105 amps... maybe the guy that you bought it from upgraded it? might wanna call and check
