Okay people told me that a 18'' fi.ssd wouldnt fit in a 2004 chevy aveo. but im going with the 15'' fi.ssd. i know they say the fi.ssd 15's and 18's belong in a ported enclosure but what about a wedged enclosure? wedge enclosures are very loud their basically SEALED but they use your whole car as a bandpass and it gives you a 10-20db increase. most people dont know about them thats how you get the maximum slam out your subs. I thought about the five 8'' kicker comps and realized they were bad from the start so for a little more money I seen the 15'' FI.SSD for only 269.99 (Fully Loaded!!) but for 20 bucks more I seen the 18'' FI.SSD for 299.99 (Fully Loaded!!). I know 18's hit harder, deeper and sound better than 15's but the question is I have a 2004 Chevy Aveo (Sedan 4-door Not hatchback) so I was thinking a 18 probably wouldnt fit so i was thinking i would get the 18'' but have it custom made for the trunk. I really want a 18 but please help me out on this one! Will it be hella loud even though their 8 inch woofers because of alot of cone area & bass? Its gonna be in a box. It will look like steve meades box but im having big FI.BTL logos on it on each side in gray because i cant think of another way how to design it but my woofers are gonna have seperate chambers because im probably not going to bump a four all the time and im having seperate chambers because i can get better sound unlike meade only having one chamber.

Whats the best kind of wood I can use to get the full preformace out of a 18'' FI.BTL with these specs? Dual 2 Ohm,Cooling,HiXm Coil,Induct heat ring,And Daily option. I plan on buying four!!! Also the recommended option is 2000 Rms but Steve Meade told me he gives his 5000 Rms each he has four also. ''audio-neon'' told me ''meade knows how to build enclosures to compensate for overpowering the woofers thats why he gives them that much power''. If thats true how will I make my enclosure inorder to do that if I plan on overpowering the subs. Is that a good thing if I have a enclosure do that or just stick with 2000 Rms each (or maybe 2600 rms if so). Oh okay. Is 2600 watts too much or can they handle it? Im buying 4 BTL's each being powered by a hifonics brutus bxi2670d is that a good combo?

Whats louder between a 15'' FI.BL & a 18'' FI.BL? I know its crazy but please answer will the 18'' woofer play louder lows and hit lower Freq. than on a 15'' Also will it play more lows on a 18'' than it would on a 15''.Also will a 18'' woofer play stuff on it that you wouldnt hear on a 10,12, & 15'' woofer ? Basically whats the difference between a 18'' woofer & the 10,12,& 15'' woofers besides size?
