Wasup SSA! I'm seeing alot of builds lately using Birch wood and I never used Baltic Birch before. I know that its 10 bucks more,lighter, and stronger than MDF. But my ? is which wood gives MORE output & helps out on meter better? Weight isn't an option I just wanna know whats the best material to use & what will be loudest! Thanks SSA

Yea I already knew I was going to drop atleast 1k on getting my electrical right, I just needed to know everything I will need. N no I'm not dumb I know when to back off when voltage drops too low. I want to have a steady voltage of atleast 14.8v all day, and I think 4 Kinetik HC2400's, 350amp H/O alt (Or Bigger), Big III (All 0guage) and a Kinetik HC 1400 or KHC2000 (Under hood) should just do that or better. I will be running amp @ .67ohms all day.

ummmm....No unless you want to see some smoke! OP get at least 3 batteries in the rear along with your front battery. You may or may not need an HO alt depending on your vehicle. Also, get yourself a good 15a external charger to maintain your batteries Ok Thaks. Will 4 Hc2400's be better than 3 D3100's?

Ok thanks. What does your Voltage read, and how much watts are you drawing from the amp? usually anywhere from 14-15 volts. Might go down to 13.2 or so on heavy, and I mean heavy bass. As for how much the amps putting out? I don't know, hasn't been clamped by me but I'll guess anywhere from 5500-6k Ok bro thanks 4 your help! I can fet 4 HC2400's for the same price as 3 D3100's so I might go with the Kinetiks. Those should do good.

your question has been answered. What the fuck else do you want people to say. My answer is if you have to ask, you probably don't nred that much power. Do a little research, see what others are running with equal power. I got what I need now. I just wanted to know what others run & what do they recommend.

I looked @ IA earlier and I only might b intersted into the Warden but their 2 much. I say that because I'm lookin for a sub that can take a lil over 3k all day (Like the 1's I listed) and the DP is only rated & 1500rms while others are 2500 & up. I heard the lvl 5 gets louder than dp on highs but DP hit lows better, (That was from a guy that had both then moved to Wardens) but the xl m2 is louder than 1st gen lvl 5! Idk Im stuck between these subs & I want to pick the best out the crowd!

Yea I was lookin @ SP4's awhile ago. I heard they get Louder than N2's plus 4" coil and its a lil cheaper than both subs I listed. I don't know much about coils but are 4" coils better THE 3" coils?

Thanks for info!! I heard that if you send any sub to PSi it will come back better & louder than b4. Is that statement true in your case when you got your BTL rebuilt? What upgrades did you get from PSi? I don't know if I would say that, but I know of quite a few people locally who use PSI and are very happy with there products. I can also say that when Ive dealt with them Dave has always given me great customer service. But yes my BTL was louder to the ear after I got it rebuilt, but I got it rebuilt because I got it used, so that could be a factor. Ok. after you received it did you have any problems with spiders, cone, or coil hoping out of place?
