  1. Thank U! Would you recommend that option or not? Its like a extra 25. And does it help performance in anyway?
  2. you don't have enough power for those two subs you are also considering. cone area will help you better if you're inexperience. your box will give you the 150 or the 140. So ur saying the Hifonics wont power the subs? Or are you taking about electrical, batteries, alternators etc?
  3. Ok its cool. Im just iffy about getting it or not. Just wanna know if that option helps the sub overall. Im going to email some people and see if they know what it does
  4. Ok thanks for info. I'll stick to 1500. I might see at least 147-148 that will be good. But what is the Internal Lead option? Is it recommended for Daily?
  5. I would love to get Btls n3's but thats out my price range thats 1500+ for wat an extra 6db or so. How much more wrms can a fully loaded Bl take? The stoc take 1500rms daily. And what is the "Internal Lead" option for the BL. I looked it up on Fi Tech but its not on there only the "Extreme Lead"
  6. Thanks. I kinda figured that. So the BL's would be the best choice?
  7. In general what would be louder between 2 fully loaded 18" Fi BL's, 1 18" fully loaded BTL N3, or 1 18" AA Smd woofer. Will be powered to Hifonics HFI3000d. Already got the amp. If I get 2 subs the box will be 13cuft after displacements double baffled and braced and tuned to 32hz. or with a 1 sub setup it will be 7.5cuft after displacements double baffled and braced and tuned to 32hz. I mainly care about LOUDNESS (No SQ) such as db reads etc. at least 149-152db. Setup will be going into 1996 Chevy Tahoe. Looking for a good hard hitting daily driver. Dont wanna spend more than 850 for subwoofers. "Hope This Helps" P.S. Im also interested in DC Lvl 5's and RD Audio Heavyweights. Dnt know how much they are though
  8. K. I dont see ported enclosure spces on this site but I was thinkin 6-7cuft. tuned to 32-34hz. that should be loud.
  9. This will be my third setup. I had 2 12" kenwoods, and 2 12" JL Audio W3's. I still have them. Just want something better. I wanna be in the 140's for now and still hit lows pretty good.
  10. Yea. U can get 3 new RE 10's for 100.00$. And the Type R's 150.00 for both, and the Mach 5 Audio IXL 18 2.2. is 150.00. I dont wanna spend more than 300 for now. But I seen some 15" SSA subs on this site for 130 or sumthing, their the DCONs and their only 300wrms. But they seem good. Anyone know how good and loud 2 of them are?
  11. Well my bad just needed some help. What you think would be best. whats the vehicle this is going in? what your max dimensions for the box? better yet, read the posting guild lines and start the thread over... 1999 Chrysler LHS (Big Trunk) 6-7cuft max.
  12. Well my bad just needed some help. What you think would be best.
  13. Wasup guys at SSA! Its been a while and I need help on a upcoming setup I plan on getting in a week or two. What system would be loudest between 6 10" RE Audio REX 10's, 2 12" Alpine Type R's, Or a 18" Mach 5 Audio IXL 18.2.2. I might be right but six tens (period) should be louder because of more cone area but I dont really know. I also havent heard RE Audio products personally and on top of that the REX ones are entry subs. Their 175wrms each but can take more power and I just wanna be loud and still hit lows good. Space and power isnt a option. Whatever I get will be hooked up to a Hifonics HFi1500d so that will be fine and possibly tuned to 32-34hz. Please help me on this one. "Hope This Helps "
  14. Hey. Its me again, I FINALLY bought the 2 12" JL W3v1 Model Subs! There 300wrms Apiece and I have a 2004 Chevy Aveo Sedan Like This... http://files.conceptcarz.com/img/Chevrolet/2004-chevy_Aveo_manu-034-1280.jpg And Im thinking about having my friends friend build me a Inverted Wedge Box. What would be louder in that car with those subs? A Inverted Wedge Box?? Or A Ported Box?? Heres info on the Inverted Wedge INVERTED WEDGE DESIGN
  15. How Loud Are They? This Is My First Time Having JL Subs And People Say W0's Work Better And Louder In A Sealed Enclosure Than Ported Enclosure. Is That True?? Never metered mine, currently it is only running on 75 watts. It sounded good sealed, but it sounds better ported atleast to me. Ok cool. I also heard that the w0's are underrated and they can handle 300wrms instead of 150. Is that true?

  17. I just bought two old 12" JL Audio W0's From the Pawn Shop today. They can in a small sealed enclosure. Will w0's work louder and better in a ported or sealed enclosure?
  18. Ok now is it true that the stiffer the box is the louder the box is?
  19. That sig is super old dont pay attention to it. So do you think 2 batts is enough for the 4k2d?
  20. That sig is super old dont pay attention to it. So do you think 2 batts is enough for the 4k2d?
  21. Ok now is the xs3100 better than the kinetik hc3800? And how much is the xs3100 & the group deka batteries?
  22. Oh thats cool but what battery is better and has more power between a kinetik hc2400 @ a XS Power 3100
  23. Who has the best & cheapest alternators? Dc power or mechman?
  24. Ok so if I get the 250amp ho alternator and 2 hc2400's will that be enough power the get the max rms wattage out the amp & enough power for me to play it all day everyday?
  25. Now the stetsom 4k2d pulls 240amps so is a 250amp ho alternator and a kinetik hc2400 enough power for me to get the max rms wattage out the amp?
