Okay thanks & like I was saying the stetsom 4k2d amp is not 1ohm stable it puts out max power @ 2ohms (like kicker amps) and only one sub will be hooked up to this amp so you said get a dual 1ohm sub instead of a dual 2ohm sub?

Well the nonimal independence on the hdc3 sub is 1.8-1.9ohms So what if I wire it paralell making it 1.3-1.4ohms and then it will go up after independence rise making it close to 2ohms wont it?

Ok thanks & I will be getting a dual 2ohm sub if I go with stetsom because the lowest independence is 2ohms but one thing I dont like about stetsom is that they dont have a subsonic filter. =( ? with a duel 2ohm sub the only ohm load you can get is 1ohm or 4ohm. so you want to run the stetsom under its rated power.. lol okay i also heard a rumour about those stetsom amps that they are for spl and burping and aren't the best at daily? i don't know and i can't vouche for that rumour but i thought i would let you know and hopefully someone can chime in and explain or deface that rumour. Yeah its a rumor I personally talked to stetsom and they said the amps can be used for daily. And I was going to wire the subs in series wire to sub & wire to the amp no paralel wiring so wont that be a 2ohm load?

I plan on buying a HDC318 dual 2ohm with alum coil & upgraded spider pack and Im giving 4k to the sub The AQ puts out 3500rms @1ohm And the 4k2d puts out 4200rms @2ohms @ 12.8volts @ 5000+wrms @2ohms @ 13.8volts. So what amp would be better and more efficent between a aq3500d and a stetsom 4k2d?

The reason why I'm set on kicker and fosgate is because sundown re audio,rd audio, and other places charge too much for components. So I picked kicker and fosgate because their mainly the two best mainstream manufactures am I right?
