SMD SSA Respek Mobile Audio Club Knowledge Realm TBC Ca Termpro **** but i only post projects on a select few of those Lighter, just as strong, less dust, beautiful! Splinters with cross cuts, is VERY unforgiving (small mistakes are hard to recover from, and get exaggerated when stained) and is more expensive than mdf -Drew

		Enclosure for Sony Xplode

Sonys dont have the mechanical tolerance of nicer woofers- i would suggest 1.5-1.75cuft @38-40hz sub up port back in a jeep. -Drew

DC lvl 4 12" in Oak Ply Box

Just posting a follow up to the "Attention Noobtastic" thread in the DC area. Happy Customer Big Box might make it to Autorama 09  it was dark but i knew vids would be demanded soon enough lolz :yahoo: sounds good for only 700w (big surprise, always loud with DC) (Finish was left bare and some stubborn saw burns were left because he said he was going to cover it in fabric. If he decides to stain in the future i'll clean it up a bit more) -Drew

what have people scored with a dp21

LOL iirc the BTL is rated 1500 (maybe 2k? i forget) but it can take much, much more. my lvl 4 is rated a 1,000w sub and i gave it 2,800w for the few weeks i had it in. Just because i was laughing so hard from last post- i'll end with this. speaker fails for two reasons thermal or mechanical if your overpowering your driver you can build a box to compensate any woofer will burn with its rated power clipped to hell and over heating With clean signal and the right box you can overpower well built woofers quite a bit. Sorry for being off topic to the OP -Drew

		DC lvl 4 18" vs Crunch GP3k

What voltage and current did you measure right before clipping? haven't gotten around to getting the #s yet. I just got my rockford 360.2 test CD back so i'll be setting it with a -5db overlap here shortly and will update with numbers then. 70A alt + 110A alt two redtops big 4/5 in 0ga 12.2 at idle after ~5min of blasting and 14.x constant while driving. bats sit at 14.4 at idle system off at 13.2 on 1A trickle charger and 12.7 just sitting -Drew

		DC lvl 4 18" vs Crunch GP3k

i'm not getting 3kw of clean power, but i would run a pair 3s conservatively on one in the right box. All the DCs are solid products and will take some heavy abuse -Drew
