I dont think im getting the internal lead. I saw it leaves more room for error when you dont.

Also there is no demo color of silver. It says its an option but there its the only color they missed on the website.

Is there no more gray? You cant order it on the website.

I'd do it, only because of the tinsel slap some have exercised mostly due to "high" excursion... I'd get it .. Only thing is I remember I think Nick stated he liked it without that option... I'd still get it if it were for my own reassurance ... What does it actually do? I dont understand...

Just get the cooling and extra spider if you want to upgrade it. I would at least run 4 gauge to the amp no less. Do not use 8 gauge 2.3 ported would sound great Alright ill run 4 gauge then. And 10 gauge to the speaker. Dumb question but that is 2.3 cubes after sub/port/thickness displacement correct?

Im going to get a Fi Q 12 dual 2 and was curious what options I should go for. I am powering it with a Sundown SAX-1200D parallel. Thinking about doing the big 3 upgrade I already have the 1/0 hyperflex but I have a new 2010 A4. Runing 8g from the battery to the trunk in the amp. Again, What options should I go for with a ported enclosure about 2.3 cubes.

Is that not to big If I go one 12?

About the biggest I want my box is 3'x1'x1'5''. I think thats only enough for one 12.

Xcon would make me want to feed it the SAZ 1500 and I dont think im ready to throw and extra 3-400 on it :/. I could buy from db-r but kinda wanted everything new cause im picky like that. The xcon would perform great on the 1200, no point in getting the 1500 because you wouldnt even hear a difference between two Good to know ill keep in mind.

Found out the answer to my question. Icons average is like .2 below the Q. For those of you with the icon, is it better to go more towards the ported or ported optimal size?

This helps me rule out the xcon and go with icon if i go for ssa. Thanks for the advice. Its going to be tough to decide between the Q and the Icon 12. The only thing I got going for me is the want to try out ssa subs since ive already ventured into Fi subs... but then at the same time Fi did not dissapoint me whatsoever. Whats the difference in perfect box size with no port noise tuned to 32hz between the two? Just noticed the votes doubled since last night good job guys keep it up .

From the specs the Xcon and the Q seem to be on the same level. Xcon has a little more xmax for what it's worth. Personally I would take a loaded Q over a Xcon. Loaded as in with cooling/spider/internal lead right?

how does the xcon compair to the Q? Ive had the BL so I have some idea of what the Q will bring.

I am not expecting any of these to have the output my 18 bl did. Im going with a smaller setup and fewer amps in the trunk as well. The bl seemed to just lag if the song was an up-beat bass heavy song. I listen to a lot of dubstep/d&b along with everything else from led zepplin to bob marley to tupac.

As simple as the title and poll makes it. They are going in a ported box in the trunk of a B8 A4. Imagine that the box is ideal size and tuned to about 33 for all options. They are being powered by a Sundown SAX-1200D. I know all of these will have the output im looking for so which would have the most SQ? Thanks for the help.

New scenario. Ported box is at ideal size tuned to 32hz. Amp for powering the sub/s is Sundown 1200.1 What number? 1. Fi Q 12 2. SSA Icon 12 3. Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection 2x10 4. Sundown Audio SA 2x10

Ive decided to go ported.. maybe this time ill try aero ports.
