  1. Ok I got the plate in the mail today, but there's a small problem. The extended top plate tapers to a wide base and it doesn't quite fit, but I'll take it to my schools shop and fix it. You did a great job on it though.
  2. lol @ the compass. This will be put to good use. thx
  3. And one more question. How will it affect box requirements? Right now I'm looking toward a sealed 18, but I'm not sure what the recommended box volume would be.
  4. ok, that's cool. You can pm me how much you want for it.
  5. any updates on the adapter plate?
  6. Wait, I'm limited to 15 or is that just with the eclipse style basket?
  7. So the adapter plate is the better idea?
  8. It feels pretty solid, but if you want to play with your drill press be my guest How much force can a sub create btw? I've always wanted to know that.
  9. PICS!!!! ignore the missing spacer, lowes only had 5.
  10. Ok the bolts and spacers fit perfectly with the old eclipse basket, so now I'll talk to one of the guys at Fi and see what options I have.
  11. If I buy an 18" recone from fi, how would it perform IB with this motor?
  12. He said he wants 200 for the recone parts and an extra 100 for the frame. Couldn't I just buy the frame and source the soft parts somewhere else? The extended part of the top plate is one inch. The pole piece is another 5/8" above that.
  13. The recone from RU will run me about $300. The adapter plate is looking pretty good right now, lol. But will it affect the subs performance.
