US Amps USA-2000x ?????
Ive seen em go for about 400-600$ used in the past year or so. They ran about $1700 MSRP around the late 90's when they were in production. HELL of an amp! Love mine. After looking at your pictures, that one is WAY smaller then my amp. Im guessing that one is a later design? Not 100% sure but it sure does say 2000x on it.

Audioque hdc3 woofers?
If you care about SQ then id look else where. Other then that, it was a great woofer for me. Just didn't have the SQ by any means. It was useless with rock especially. But on certain rap songs, she got LOUD. 2600W Rms 4.0 cube at 33hz

How much power do I dare put in an FI 15BTL?
Im throwing 2600 to my 15 BL all day everyday. I mash on it pretty hard and with headroom to spare for more power IMO. I think you can throw more then 3K in your position.

AQ2200 probs.
I would speak to Dj at AQ. My friend had the same amp and almost the same issue. Another issue when using the bass knob (which I dislike aswell) is that the clipping light was ALWAYS flashing. If it wasn't there was almost no output at all. IIRC, my friend told me there were some issues with those amps.

Scott, id love to keep putting more time on the woofer but my amp had other thoughts. Going to be a month or two with out bass. But prior to this issue, everyone has been impressed by the sq and output. Quite amazing to me still...

USA 2000x self destructed PICS
isnt the rail grounded to begin with? I was thinking something of that sort happend but to be completely honest, I believe it melted AFTER the bar turned into glowing molten metal. Im just hoping the board isn't toast because then I can have it fixed by greg.

Is this fixable? Guess im going to have to talk to Greg I am assuming? These are all the same MOSFET on one side closest to the power imputs This is on the other side halfway on the board

Thanks to everyone at Fi Car Audio. So much for 3-7 days lead time...Ordered Saturday and was shipped Mon or Tues. Decided to go back from the Aq Hdc315 to the new 09 Bl 15. It's great to have the Fi SQ back. And god does it just absolutely slam and hit the notes with absolute accuracy. Especially, during rock double bass. Ive seen little about the 09 BL so I thought I would post my thoughts and pics. This is my 3rd Fi sub and every time, I am happy about the money and time spent. Can't wait to put more time and it and see how she does after break in. Sincerely, Mike Giessen Mike Giessen Racing inc.

replacement tweeters for my 6.5 PG Rsd's
The type of music I listen to and settings that I adjust to point to the tweeter area mainly. Deadening my doors made a significant difference but really didn't give me the wow factor. I always seem to pay very close attention to the higher freq.... if it seems off for the particular song, ill always adjust my eq. Ive heard better sounding front stages then mine, where the tweeters are loud but concise and smooth. I think that's what Id like for you to help me find some choices besides what I have now.

replacement tweeters for my 6.5 PG Rsd's
Well said, but i think we all know I can do better especially if i drop $150 or more. Don't get me wrong, id like to change it up AND get something better. That's my question to you, what do you think I could take a look at? Just want to view my options. Because its been over a year since ive changed anything in my car...Almost feel like im itching to so something. And let me add on to what I said before. I have only owned a short list of comp speakers, most of which were nothing special. Partly the reason for wanting something more of the mid to upper level cost and performance.

replacement tweeters for my 6.5 PG Rsd's
Honestly, the Rsd's have been great ( in low response and the tweets). Especially for what I paid for them. Just seemed a bit better all around from what ive owned in the previous.

replacement tweeters for my 6.5 PG Rsd's
Got the deadner checked off. As far as going active, I really have no want to do so. I am very pleased with my setup now for what I use it for. Having better speakers with better tweeters would be more then enough on my plate. It's something ive considered but didn't want to get involved.

replacement tweeters for my 6.5 PG Rsd's
Yeah, the tweeters and bass response didn't impress me in my setup. But they weren't the top of the line CDT's.. Ohwell I'm fine with and up to 200$ for a pair of good comps...But obviously, if I can spend 150$ on a great pair and improve on performance from where I am at now...Id consider that money well spent. Thanks M5 Seems like your always helping me.
