  4. I have to take a run to the parts store for a headlamp bulb and was going to get one.. What size am I looking at for two amps and a small fan? Xm unit is wired separately behind the dash.
  5. Got the relay hooked up and working. However, I am getting 13.5V at the remote on the amp. Is this ok?
  6. But heres the weird thing. Ive been running the setup as is for over a month with no problems. But I am totally with the idea of using the relay. Thank you guys for chiming in!
  7. Having a sparatic issues with my remote voltage. Out of nowhere, I am having an issue with the amps/xm unit shutting off randomly. Turn the H/U off and it works again. Took out the DMM and found that Idle voltage is 12.4 and dips around 11.4 when the music is playing. Drove around for a few min and it did its thing again at which the voltage was around 5.5 and not sufficient to turn my amps on. I am running two amps, xm unit and SMALL low rpm fan on the remote circuit and have not had a problem for quite awhile...( I don't believe it is related to having too much stuff on the 12V remote) However....My H/U is over 3-4 years old Alpine 9827 Thinking it has gone through its life cycle? Going to check for wiring issues in the daylight as well but I highly doubt it. Hopefully someone can shed some light! Another clue: Sunday, I ran into an issue with the xm unit turning off out of nowhere BUT everything else was fine...Seems like a problem started there and has gotten worse. Sounds like a H/U voltage problem that can't be fixed???
  8. Ah yes. AKA something that I might like. Thanks man.
  9. Is there any info (approximate date, type of speaker etc..) on the "new line" that is going to be released?
  10. Both Mrd-m1005 (alpine) and Usa 2000x produce 1000W as I have the Usa running on one channel (time being). However, the Usa blows the Alpine out of the water. I am also getting less dimming then I did with the Digital amp which seems ass backwards to me. Can anyone shed some light so I can understand this more? Thanks Btw, I love this amp!

  19. Well got about 30 min of playtime in at moderate volume and I am REALLY happy with this piece. What I first noticed is how it picks up and clearly plays the higher notes but also has better reach down low aswell. At a certain spot down low it lacks that compared to the Type R but the BL is way more punchy and clear. Almost tickles you it is so fast in picking up notes. Surely, it will change as it breaks in....Might hit the lows with more power then? If not, I might have to lower the tuning a little bit..Not sure at this point. Only thing is that I am sure on is how I am loving it! Thanks Guys! Will get vids when I get a chance.
