i havent really narrowed it down to the manufacurer but ive considered: 12s rockford p3 or 15 T1 12s kicker l5 or 15 l7 i was also looking at something less mainstream like FI or image dynamics

i have a question about a system i plan to build, i have a 07 monte carlo. i plan to get the rockford power 1000 5 ch, from all the reviews and info i found on it the sub channel makes about 900 rms. i dont know which way i wanna go with the subs, should i get two 12s at 500 rms a piece or a single 15 at 1000 rms. from what i found about most subs i looked at for a single 15 the ported box size is about the same as two 12s in a ported box. as for the install i dont want it to take up the whole trunk so i want to build a box around 3.5 to 4 3ft. but what combination would sound better, i like rap mostly and i like it loud. thanks for the info in advance.
