  5. So I did something stupid today and got my finger stuck between the coil and rubber stop. Damn if my finger is not throbbing now! It seems I am good for a stupid move every once in a while.
  6. Sweet looking ride and system.
  7. Now what am I going to do with this awkward boner? Slice that thin and it will melt on your tong.
  8. Just waiting on the new FJ springs to get here, then the 4runner will have a mild lift.
  9. I heated a control arm once to pop one out, and the grease inside the joint heated and expanded and shot past the seal with a large bang and subsequent grease explosion. I felt the grease on my face and was sure I was covered in shrapnel before I realized what had actually happened. It definitely catches you off guard.
  10. The moment a ball joint finally breaks loose and sounds like a shotgun was shot right in front of you.

  14. I too need to change the front CV's and the front ball-joints on the Jeep. Fun fun fun... Fun for sure. Axle seal let go on one side. Ball joints on that side were bad-ish. And the previous owner welded the axle tube to the housing, because the factory rosette weld broke. He didn't do a good job...so it needs further work.... a big overhaul. Called a friend who has a lot of Jeep parts, for $200 + my axle he's swapping in a good axle. WIN ! You do not want to know what I paid for these, I hope to do this Thursday. Too much or too little ? Too little, I have a parts insider.
  15. I killed the hop
  16. Some days I just want to be another stupid employee who is oblivious to what is the right thing to do.
  17. Some days I feel like a take a royal fucking at work. It almost seems like the daylight experts will half ass things to get out the door and I walk into the same problems and take the time to make proper repairs. Then get ask what I did to fix it.
  18. 3M sent me a cleaning kit/system for my carpet. So far it has worked every time.
  19. Like mine shaved and finger licking!
  20. Good thing I keep a 2 ton surplus.
  21. Wood pellet prebuy this year is $225.00 a ton! The fucking natural gas industry is driving the price up buy buying wood pellets to soak up their frack water! Those asshole are paying $275.00 for the same and several dealers are not selling to home owners because they are making more selling to the frackers!
  22. Speaking of old, there are some who will make it past the 40 this year...
  23. I have been making custom tools to make this job go smooth, I hope any way.
