1911 full size is my favorite gun to shoot. Big heavy revolvers in magnum sizes are number 2. The weight makes all recoil slow down a touch. My 9mm, while better in a wartime/zombie SHTF scenario is too light and less elegant. Well then I have one of each of your top two favorites to shoot then.

We also got my son's new gun out today. Ruger 357 vaquero, also a fun gun and made me think of the movie young guns as I was playing cowboy.

My daughter and son enjoyed shooting it also. I was surprised that for a 45 it did not kick like other's I have shot.
